You guys probably already know this but Downey Jr. is going to be playing Tony Stark aka Iron Man in Jon Favreau's film adaptation. Personally I think he's an awesome choice for the role - probably the best, actually. I've seen it called "inspired casting" on other websites, but I'm not sure if that's said with tongue planted firmly in cheek or not.

Also he was GREAT in a Scanner Darkly.
Yeah, if there's any actor that know about trying to recover from a debilitating addiction, he' right up their.  Overall, a much better choice than the rumor of Nicolas Cage ealier on...

Let's see, I know that I'll be getting some flak for this, but right of the top of my head, Batman, Batman Returns, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, Spiderman, and Mystery Science Theater 3000: the Movie(Well they're heroes to me...)

QuoteBatman, Batman Returns

eh a bit too cheesy for me

QuoteTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, Spiderman

yeah i like them and spiderman is a good movie as far as im concerned

QuoteMystery Science Theater 3000: the Movie

A movie about heros isnt nessicarily a movie about super heros.

Meh, close enough...

i knew you would say spiderman, it really is a decent film.

I actually haven't seen all of Spiderman 2 yet, it looks prety good as well.  I liked X-Men, but X-Men 2 was just kinda okay.  I've been a little intimeidated by all the flak XM3 got to even go near it though.  Superman Returns was just a bit disappointing, though.  For me it wasn't as good as Superman, and S2, but better than 3 & 4...

i thought superman returns brought absolutely nothing new to the table.  It was basically ANY superman movie from the 80s. same damn villian same damn problem.  we have so much better technology now it really should have been supes beating the tar out something amazingly tough for a couple hours.  the only scene where we do get to see something really amazing is supes versus the underground fire scene.
