Anyone re-author this lately???

When I did it a few years ago I remember I had to make some edit adjustments because the track was slightly out of sync. If I remember I had to add a second before a set of jokes and then remove a second somewhere before the next sync line to get them to line up with the video. Did that ever get fixed?

I am re-doing my oldest riffs because my re-authoring is way better now.

I just went through this one again to fix the sync issues and actually found three segments with problems:

1:32:55 - add 1.0 second
1:36:45 - remove 1.0 second

1:47:00 - add 1.2 seconds (between "wolves" and "hospital" riffs)
1:52:35 - remove 1.2 seconds

1:57:52 - add 1.0 second
1:58:05 - remove 1.0 second

The last one is only one joke, but it was obviously out of sync.

Sorry, I should have clarified that. The times are after sync'ing the riff, so they are movie running times.

BTW, thanks for pointing out that the riff goes in and out of sync. My (incorrect) recollection was that it went out of sync at some point for the rest of the movie.

No problem! One caveat though, I haven't re-watched the whole thing yet, so if there are any sync problems before the one at 1:32 I may need to add to this. I don't recall seeing any problems up to that point the last time I watched it, though.

My recollection was that it was towards the end. One of the jokes I remember not lining up with the video is when the President is all sweaty. and I think there is a "baby got back" kind of joke about one of the alien's butt.   Hopefully the rip I am going to use of the blu-ray is timed the same.

I've worked and re-worked this every which way. 
The second set of timings, at least with my wave file, were the following:

1:46:59.7- add 1.2 seconds (between "wolves" and "hospital" riffs)
1:52:34.7 thru 1:52:35.9  - remove 1.2 seconds

Timing sets 1 and 3 were perfect. Many thanks Eegah for the assist.

Edit:
I'd also like to report that if you are reauthoring the BD, you will need to remove 25.31 seconds from the front of the Rifftrax MP3. All other timings referenced above for fixing sync times applies.

Finally got off my butt and re-did this one! Thanks for the input and timecodes! Worked like a charm!

eegah and CHF01's timing corrections were very helpful, but I ended up doing a few minor deviations.  Nonetheless, this re-authoring project was a bit frustrating.  RiffTrax really needs to revisit this riff and at least correct the timings.
