A Single Man

[kingj2038]

2009 film, stars Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, and pretty good movie as long as you aren't creeped out by gay themes.  But the reason I post about it to my fellow Rifftrax/MST3K friends as while watching it I couldn't help but notice... the soundtrack was a high budget production of Manos: Hands of Fate!  Or at least to my ears.

If anyone else has seen this movie, do you agree or is it just my imagination?  Also, if you haven't, a sample for ladies and gentlemen: the haunting Torgo theme.

Loved the film (it's also one of only two where I've found Moore sexy) never really paid attention to the score, I'll check it out again.

EDIT: OMG I can absolutely hear that! It might be the cider though.

I can't stop hearing it ARRRGGGGHHHH

For reference:

(This is the same track used in the trailer, just without the clock ticking)

Torgo's theme is slightly faster, and the drum beat is different, but they are eerily similar.

This further solidifies my belief that Colin Firth is really a satyr of some sort.
