THE 2011 NFL SEASON: LOCKOUT OR NOT!

I swear, our sport talk folks' heads are going to explode. The constant refrain today was "Tebow can't possibly win"  or "The last two games were flukes. It can't work again." They've been pissed off about him all year, even in pre-season, and every win is just resulting in huge amounts of sputtering and back pedaling.

Strange game. It's like the Jets D just vanished on the last drive. The Doncos hadn't even come close to mounting a drive like that the entire night. I wonder if the altitude caught up to the Jets D. What a sad performance from Sanchez against the worst pass D in the league. Granted, he was under some pressure, but some of those throws were atrocious. Ultimately though, Jets turnovers. They'll kill ya'!

I just don't see Tebow as QB to be sustainable. This is the NFL; you can;t have a run-only offense. You just can't. Seems to me, you would want to put him in a position where you can get him the ball in space and let him do what he does best. He's an incredibly inaccurate passer and that isn't something you work on and develop. Why not get a good QB and achieve a balanced attack?

Well, Denver is getting the "W's", but man is it horrid to watch.

Like DB Barnes said, I just do not see Tebow as an NFL QB....... HB or TE for sure, but not QB.    There are going to be games where the other team stops the run and you HAVE to pass.   I don't think he can pass.

Great wins though.

Of All Times I get to see my Bills in Mexico and they're getting slaughtered by the Dolphins ???

Sadly, I was not able to make it to STL to see the 24-7 drubbing at the hands of the hapless seahags.    My sister and brother in law had to sit through that disaster.

Here is the e-mail I just sent to my season ticket account manager.

Season ticket holder since since the Rams first game in STL in 1995 and I can honestly say this is the worst football team I have ever seen in person.   Disinterested players, poor coaching, everyone just giving up in the second half of every game, lack of talent everywhere.   I am sure you will see a number of long-time season ticket holders (me included) not renewing.   This is not a major league product that is being trotted out onto the field each week.

Sadly, I already made plans to use my tickets for the Sunday game after Thanksgiving, but that will be my last one.    I do not not travel from Houston for the games to see that product.

Any plans for rebates for the past season?

That would've been a great upset had TB pulled it off :o

I'm glad he seems to have gotten things turned around from the disasterous game in college against Boise State.

Absolutely. After watching that and hearing about the subsequent suspension, I had serious doubts as to whether or not he had a future. Glad he screwed his head on straighter.

And I'm sure the Boise State kid learned a lesson about taunting too!

A "face full of fist" lesson.
