All this talk, and still no mention of the controversial use of "gay" in the trailer for Ron Howard's next movie "The Dilemma"?

This conversation is so gay

I wasn't offended by it, I just lump it in the same category with the fart and poop and 'whatever' lowbrow jokes. And It's not that I hate 'em all, it's that I'm tired of hearing them on every release, and feel they are over used (Saying that, I am grateful there wasn't another "head" joke in this one, after the last 2 releases, I was worried that was going to be their new infantile running gag) but I'm feeling that way about the word "Shit" in the CT releases. At first it was funny and out of character, now I'm like "okay guys (and gal) lets get a new word". But - that's more a subjective humor thing than a "I'm offended" thing. And YMMV on that.

As for offense - this criticism isn't unique to Rifftrax - I remember when this same debate cropped up when MST3K released the movie. Some people were offended by the gay jokes, while others argued that they weren't putting down gays, but rather were teasing the era that wouldn't or couldn't acknowledge it (especially when Joe had an obvious man crush on Cal. lol)
