Wholy Crap! That Sux krisbee!! :o

I would Definitely contact Fantom and even file a complaint with them (if that is even possible) cause they seriously dropped the ball there!

I agree with the technical issues and that's kept me from driving the 15+ miles one way to my nearest theater in Charlotte, NC :-[

I don't how many times we've said this. It's not up to Fathom, it's up to the theater. If they cancelled the show, it's the theater's fault, and you should complain loudly to the management there. At the very least they should refund your tickets, and give you a free pass on top of that for not telling you. If there was more we could do (other than point you to the freebies page) we would, but in all honesty, it's out of our hands.

Speaking of releases, when will the old HoHH be available on the site again?

I need it.

We're putting them back up today.

Maybe I got two different slides mixed up as far as the word "early" goes, but I definitely saw one talking about Reefer Madness Live Show and November.  Saw it twice, in fact.

Pretty sure you didn't see one about the Reefer Live DVD, because Jason (our graphic designer) hasn't created a slide for it. It might have been the regular Reefer Madness DVD, perhaps, but it was definitely not the live show DVD. (Unless I'm wrong, but seeing as how I have insider knowledge, I'm probably not.)

I was there for all the slides (with a 5 minute exception after the slides started repeating) and I only saw a slide for the Maniac DVD.

It should be up to fathom to warn that theaters have changed, at least.  If they said it was x,y, and z - tickets were available and bought - then an email notice, or a post on the page that theaters might have changed or cancelled would have been helpful.  Heck, even a disclaimer to check a few days before would have been helpful - to me, if it was booked and ready to go it would have made NO SENSE to go back if I had tickets in hand.  You say it will be in x, y, and z, it should be there - this wasn't months in advance, it was 27 days in advance.

To say Fanthom has NOTHING to do with this is ridiculous.  They said it was going to be at a certain location, then it should have, or if it was dicey - make that statement.  Bad for business?  So is pulling the rug out from under many people.

An of course Cinemark is to blame - they had my contact info, they should have sent me an email that the event was cancelled.  I will go out of my way to avoid them.

When it was held at AMC last time they were class acts, and when the signal dropped due to rain fade, they gave us free passes and allowed us to stay in case it came back on (missed 1/2 an hour of Reefer Madness show).

Add my theater to the list that had problems last night.

I went to see the show at my usual theater of choice when it comes to Rifftrax Live events, Regal Cinemas Bowie Crossing Stadium 14. For some reason, the theater wasn't showing the "trivia" cards that usually appear when I attended the theater the last three times for Rifftrax Live. Since I got there early, I assumed that maybe the cards haven't even started and that they'll come up later.

However, none of the trivia cards showed up at all, and by 8:00PM, the theater was in the same state that it was in when I got in there: with nothing on the screen and Muzak playing in the background. I informed someone working about the theater about the lack of movie, and eventually they fixed it, only for me to miss half of the "Grocery Witch" short (which thankfully was the short that was available for free download to those attending the screening).

Once that problem was fixed, I has a blast watching the show (with plenty of great riffs during the main film). However, for a theater that showed the Xmas event and Reefer Madness without a problem (not including Plan 9, as there was interference in all the theaters showing that one), I'm disappointing that Regal Cinemas botched this up somewhat. I wonder if it had something to do with the 8:00 PM showing of Saw 3D (with was playing in the theater across from the Rifftrax Live event), and the people running the projectors were more focused on that than a one night only event.

I'm a die-hard RiffTrax fan! I've watched all the RiffTrax Live events in theaters. I really wanted to see the one for "House on Haunted Hill", but sadly, since all my friends couldn't go and my parents were busy and wouldn't let me go alone, I f**king missed it!  :'(
When "Reefer Madness" came, the announcement of this event involved an encore on Nov. 2nd, so I thought I may have a chance to see it in theaters after all, cause I was NOT gonna wait for the DVD release. But recently, I have heard nothing about an encore! :o
Please help me out here!!!

byuni

The encore was unfortunately cancelled a while back, probably not enough attendance at the Reefer Madness encore.

(Which I would have gone to but there weren't any theaters nearby playing it)

Was it me or was there a lot more crowd noise from the Nashville crowd coming through the mix?  There seemed to be way more ambient noise coming through than the previous live shows including what sounded like a digital camera going off several times. Also the movie volume got real low at one point too.
