See, I was actually excited and thought Rifftrax had grabbed someone that MST3K would not. I'm still waiting to meet the first non-MSTie Riffaholic. Don't know why, but it seems like an important milestone to me.

Well, I think if someone couldn't stand MST3K, there's not much hope for them to like RT.  Similar style humor, joke delivery, the same people, etc.  I for one, love it.  I used to think "You know what would be awesome?  More popular, mainstreamish films."  Maybe that will bring us someone who's not familiar with MST, the humor applied to movies they are more likely familiar with.

Yeah, needless to say that was really the final nail in MST3K's coffin, so to speak.  Both Comedy Central and Sci-Fi were cheap bastards that didn't want to pony up the money necessary to do anything recent or mainstream.  No such restrictions now...
