There's never been any disputing that.  The Riffing is quite funny, and I think you'd be hard pressed to claim that the movie is any worse than Battlefield Earth.

I'm hard pressed to find a LIFE EXPERIENCE that's any worse than Battlefield Earth. I've mashed my fingers in doors, whacked my head on pointy surfaces, had my wisdom teeth pulled out... :^)

What, you mean "While YOU were learning to SPELL YOUR NAME, I was being trained to conquer GALAXIES!" doesn't do it for you?

When your movie's heros are an elderly man and his grandson, you know that you have found cinematic gold.   And if your main villian looks like Eddie Rabbit, even better.

Bring on the 80s and Troll2, bring it on I say.

Well, it may LOOK like the old man and kid are our heros, but anyone whos seen it knows the real hero of the movie is a double decker balony sandwhich... which is really even better.

I actually found the dvd with Troll1 and 2 at a store today. Just walked in, figured I would check just in case without expecting to find it.
And there it was.

So tonight i'm going to suffer through Troll 1 to get ready for the riffing of Troll 2 ... if I survive.

Actually if I recall correctly there is a really bizarre sex scene (with no nudity) where it has something that leads to someone getting killed by a lot of popcorn.

I laughed out loud at that when I saw it.

And I'll laugh even harder if there are any "DEEP HURTING" riffs in this one, as it would be quite appropriate.
