QuoteAn atomic bomb test in the South Pacific creates an isolated world of terror.

Strange things are happening on this remote island in the Pacific, where a Peace Corps volunteer, a researcher and his love-starved lady arrive to find that nearby atomic testing has mutated some of the plants. It that weren't bad enough, a monster terrifies the villagers in its lust for blood. The man-beast must be stopped - but how? With sarongs a-plenty, this film was a staple at drive-ins in its day. Now experience it live with Cinematic Titanic.

Coming to DVD and download June 15! DVD includes the mini-documentary "Between the Riffs".

Maybe I will get the live one this time. When I saw it live it look like Joel was doing filing the whole time. He didn't seem to have his script in a binder and he was shuffling papers forever! I think he missed jokes too.

I really miss the studio episodes.

Joel filing papers really was odd.

While looking at this movie over on imdb.com, this nugget below was listed in the "goofs" section:

Revealing mistakes: In the scene where the characters are attacked by a killer moth inside a native hut, the wires moving the moth about are clearly visible.

"Killer moth"....... this is going to rule.

The LIVE dvd's have become my favorites of the CT collection so far..
The audience laughter causing them to break out in laughter and even flub their lines is just classic! :D :D

And Done! ;D

I came very close to buying the download just so I could see it here while still in Mexico but then I wouldn't have the matching case for my collection, plus the download speeds here in Mexico are less than 1mb/sec so it would've taken Days to download (not to mention the frequent power outages that would make me start all over again) ..
Guess I'll watch it when I get home in a couple of weeks :-[

But then there's the case of the line that Mary Jo couldn't get out and then just gave up on - East Meets Watts, I think.  And Frank says that it was a shame since it was a good one....

They could have dubbed that back into a studio edition.

Just ordered my DVD.

I have the cover about 99% done and should be able to finish up tonight.
