... Why did hte psyclos actually look at 1,000 year old surveillance satellite footage as if it were something new.

-That apparently you can have a planet that never, ever receives any radiation at all exist long enough to develop a highly mechanized civilization

-That wondering how most of the characters eat and breath (and other science facts) is more or less futile, and that I should probably repeat to myself "It's just a movie adapted from a story written by a man many apparently consider a messiah." Hmm, somehow that doesn't inspire me to relax.
