I just read that Avatar is coming out on DVD & Blu Ray on April 22nd, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the riff will also be coming out that day.

As I noted in another thread, that's also a Thursday. No idea why it's being released on Thursday.

Because it's Earth Day. James Cameron specifically planned for this early release to be released that day, to further drive home the pro-environmental message the movie has (it was shoved down our throats already, but that's apparently not good enough).

Yeah, screw the environment. Trees suck. Anyway...

On Earth Day, Fox will team up with Earth Day Network to plant one million trees. Oh, and they'll pimp the Blu-Ray Avatar release too.

Wow, surprised to see this being released in April.... although when you think about it the DVD screener has been out for sometime now, possible reaction to that maybe? Either way, very strange to see such an early release in my opinion.

What was the time difference between New Moon being released and last sat?
