As the credits rolled, my stomach hurt from laughing so hard. This is my new top favorite - and let me add my voice to the legions begging for more Mike / Bill / Kevin Rifftrax.

I wonder if they have raised the bar on what we expect from RiffTrax now?

BTW, does anyone know why some Psychlos look like monsters, while other look like humans (or as human as Travolta can look)?  ???

I know. Some looked like humans, some looked like Klingons and some looked like Orcs.
I guess its just more 'nonsense' to be thrown into the mix.

sarcasm_made_Easy

if thats true whats gonna happen on the next one you think?

Not to belabor the point, but I still can't figure out why the hell Terl took Johnny Goodseed to the library and actually allowed him to read about human history.

Phantom of Krankor

IMO, this movie in #3 on the worst movies ever made. #1 being of course, Plan 9 from Outer Space and #2 being Manos: The Hands of Fate. #4 is hobgoblins and #5 is Batman and Robin if you were curious.

One thing that really irks me about this movie is how they so obviously ripped off the Matrix lobby scene. You could've ripped it off successfully without being so painfully obvious. I mean, seriously, it was shot exactly the same as the one in the matrix. Ugh.

The one thing that makes this movie watchable for me is John Travolta's hilariously bad performance. Every time he comes on screen I burst out laughing because he's so bad. He deserved that Razzie.
I am Ambassador Phantom, from the planet Krankor! I am rapidly approaching your planet... in the warship, which you have just seen. I will arrive tomorrow night at precisely eight o'clock. At that time I shall make my wishes known to you. You will obey them... or die! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

Alleged

Did this movie have 1000-year-old working Harriers piloted by neocavemen?  And a flight simulator that apparently works without a power grid?

I feel like an idiot for asking.

My significant other is pissed - Disembaudio's laugh track made me laugh so hard I spilled my cold alcoholic beverage behind the couch cushions.

I think this one should have an extra warning label attached to keep events like this from occuring in the future.

Janitor

Yeah exactly. I wanna put my "This movie is better with Rifftrax" stickers on copies of BE, but it's not. Nothing. Not even if Joel, Mike, Trace, Kevin, Bill, Paul, Mary Jo, Jim and even Josh all got back together and riffed it again. Nothing. The movie is toxic. Uninhabitable. Horrible. Poor Barry Pepper. I liked him in 61*.

Please. I'll be good. Don't make me watch it again.

SecretAgentSuperDragon

Yeah. It hurt. I could only stand to watch it in one hour chunks.

Now some more favorite riffs:

"Six fingers, SIX!, Man alive, I don't know how I'd cope with 5."

What was with the grunts by that one guy? I loved Bill saying "What's Barry doing to him off-camera?" That was my favorite part. So disturbing. :-X

I thought the riff: "Thats not a cod piece, thats a WHALE piece", reminded me of:

"Thats no Moon, thats a battle station".

Only the reverse affect with the size thing.

I think at some point I threw a brick at the TV, but I don't recall because I was in a mad haze of rage at the time over the logical implications of jet fighters and military arms still being functional after 1,000 years of complete dormancy. Even locked away at Ft. Hood, 1,000 years of an unmaintained storage environment would take its toll on fuel cells, batteries, the chemical composition of gunpowder, and....and....how the HELL were they running a flight sim??!!! Did they figure out how to restart the ELECTRICAL GENERATORS also???!! This is never explained.

I mean, I can buy the nuclear warheads still being active and all (God bless uranium), but everything else in that base should have either needed repairs, parts replaced, or just plain would not have worked. My car sat dormant in my driveway for ten whole days recently and wouldn't turn over, and this is a simple combustion engine dormant for ten days. I bet she definatly wouldn't start after 1,000 years, even sealed in Ft. Hood. I very much doubt that a far more complicated jet engine would not turn over in 1,000 years. Come ON!!!!

And what's with the cavemen figuring out how to PILOT a jet fighter in what appears to be less than 48 hours??!! It takes YEARS to learn how to fly one of those machines, much less FIGHT and AIRDOG in one without crashing every two minutes. I've ridden horses. I've been in flight sims. They are NOT the same thing. Seriously. The same goes for using the military arms. It also takes years to learn how to properly fire a shoulder mounted launcher. And, again, this is assuming the ammo would still be live.

I never want to read the novel this movie is based off of, because I will very probably literally resort to homicide if I do. I was more pissed off after watching this movie than even Armageddon, which also had such enormous logic holes that a million elephants could easily slip through them with room to spare.

Well, this movie is a veritable swiss cheese of plot holes, but I'd like to add another one. The intro implies that the Psyclos are fearsome, indomitable conquerers, but immediately they are presented as selfish, squabbling, backstabbing corporate toadies. How, I ask you, could such a force possibly dominate the planet for a THOUSAND YEARS before humankind, emslaved though it may be, rose up and exploited their inherant internal dissention? Even with their apparent technical superiority, these creatures have no sense of comraderie or loyalty or commitment to a cause. They're just browbeaten employees, scheming to get a raise and pin the blame on somebody else. That's not a recipe for world conquest.

The riff itself, of course, was terrific, hilarious from start to end. I particularly enjoyed Bill's little freakout toward the end.

*sniff* To whomever said Fellowship was boring and pointless, you make me cry. Now Fraudzilla, or CINO (Catwoman In Name Only) those were boring and pointless. I have a feeling Bay's Transformers will be another boring and pointless movie.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

I'm still trying to figure out why those books were in mint condition after being exposed to the elements for roughly a millenium.

or why that sign stood for over a thousand years then gets knocked down by the wind from a thruster.
