1.  Gymkyata.   This goes without saying!
2.  The Shadow.   Baldwin turn down the sequel to hunt for red october for this?
3.  Batman and Robin.
4.  Westworld.    Great movie, but I can see it making a nice riff.
5.  Hard Target.   Van Damme AND Lance Herksisnsnsnson.
6.  Godzilla (the remake).
7.  Red Dawn
8.  Van Helsing
9.  Public Enemy (James Gagney version).   I bet they cold do something fun with this 30's classic
10 Jurrassic Park, any of them as they all sucked.

I'm new but here's my list

Virtuosity: Two Oscar winners(Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington), one's a Robot and the other has a Robotic arm. Guess which is which.
Goodfellas: The movie that makes murder and the mob a funny combination. Plus a shot of Sam Jackson in little boy undies.
The Wiz: A pre op Michael Jackson And Diana Ross without a wig.
Mahogany: Weird outfits, Psycho and Diana Ross make craptacular fun.
Psycho's sequels: Especially the one with Jeff Fahey(The scene when he gets beaten with his own guitar is a classic.)
Deep Blue Sea: A killer whale, how original. And Sam Jackson with a retarded haircut. Hell any of his movies(Shaft ;))
V: Marc Singer's too tight to breathe jeans, lizard looking aliens, and Freddy Kruger without makeup.
Any Planet of the Apes movie: Think the mother of Time of the Apes for MST3K fans.
The Ghastly One's: This would make an MST3K classic. I just saw it. A man's arm is cut off that appears reattached, a hunchback who gets whipped with a plastic dress belt. And shots that look like the cameraman keeps falling down the stairs.
Leprechaun: Willow stars as a killer leprechaun and it features Jennifer Aniston's embarrassing film debut. The sequels are pretty riffable too.

Too many more to list.

Virtuosity would be sweet...especially right around the time Denzel and Russell's new movie comes out:

American Gangster--http://imdb.com/title/tt0765429/

I think they need a set of movies that will sell (while I think Zardoz would be hilarious, I don't think its mainstream enough for what they're doing now). So after some thought, here is my list:

10)The Da Vinci Code (easy)
9) Matrix Reloaded (easy)
8) Trainspotting (i personally think this would be hilarious)
7) Fight Club  (could be a classic)
6) Pulp Fiction (this would be a challenge)
5) Independence Day (easy)
4) Flash Gordon (my guilty pleasure. i may be the only one to buy this)
3) Its a Wonderful Life (easy and may get press)
2) The Godfather (how great would that be)
1) Highlander (I'm sure this is coming. "Are you cruising for a piece of ass?" It will be priceless)

Sorry, not putting iron eagle on the list to finish the queen trilogy

Since my up-thread Top Ten has been rendered obsolete by the riffing of "Eragon" (thank you, gentlemen, the check is in the mail), I feel obligated to provide a new #10.  Fortunately, that's easy:

#10:  Waterworld.  Filtered by Mike and company so it's fresh and tasty. (I'll assume you know what infamous scene that refers to.)  Kevin Costner gave us two epic turkeys, but putting viewers through three hours of "The Postman" is more cruel than necessary for Rifftrax.  Instead, enjoy somewhat shorter yet ridiculously overblown spectacle -- and that's just Dennis Hopper's acting.  :rimshot:

Now that you mention it, Eragon was on my list, too. I'll replace it by stressing, once again, the importance of Riffing Highlander 2.

Raven

Since this seems to be the place for your top ten here's mine again.

10.  Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow- Horrible, the only fun thing about this movie was
convincing a friend of mine that you got to see Gweneth Paltrow topless.  He fell asleep and we
kept the joke going for weeks.

9.   Congo- This one speaks for itself.  If you haven't seen it, don't.  (Unless there is a
rifftrax to go with it.)

8.   Rollerball-  This one was bad, bad, bad.  LL Cool J actually apologized for it on "The
Daily Show."  I was told that I should see this one for some nice shots of Rebecca Roman-Stamos
but when her face looks like she's been sparring with Mike Tyson, she kinda loses her sex
appeal.  But that's just me.

7.   Deep Blue Sea- Better known in my circle as Jurassic Park Gets Wet complete with Samuel
Jackson getting eaten.  I'm sure Jurassic Park will be made and I think nature deserves an
appetizer before the main course.

6.   Escape from LA-  I don't care if this movie was tongue and cheek when they made it.  Kurt
Russell blue screen surfing, roving bands of plastic surgeons, and more over the top acting
performances than you can shake a stick at.  Golden.

5.   Hollow Man-  To be honest, I'm almost finished with a custom riff of this one and I'd
really enjoy being compared to the big guys.  I'll let everyone know when I finish and anyone
who wants one can get a copy.

4.   Reindeer Games-  If you've seen it you know why.  My girlfriend hates this one and I bet
her that I could get her to watch this one again.  I think if there were a Rifftrax, she'd have
no choice.

3.   Wild Wild West-  I know that this was supposed to be a comedy and they frown on doing
comedies, but I don't think that it should count if nothing is actually funny.  And the giant
spider tank??  And Kenneth Branagh's torso and crazy beard. Funny I thought he was a good actor
until I saw this one.

2.   Flatliners-  Almost like a before they were stars.  Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, Keifer
Sutherland, Oliver Platt, and Tito Baldwin.  Add a ridiculous plot premise and by the end
you'll wish that they chose not to revive you.

1.   Double Team-  This is the first movie I thought of when I heard about Rifftrax.  It's Van
Damme being Van Damme with a side of the most annoying celebrity from the 90's Dennis Rodman
and a little pinch of Tigers, yes I said Tigers.

10. Star Trek : Insurrection (1998) - The Next Generation equivalent of Star Trek V : The Final Frontier.

9.  Flash Gordon (1980) - A wonderland of riffing potential - but dependent upon a new dvd release if the experience is to be very widespread (the old one is OOP and rare - kinda like another film...)

8. Mystery Science Theater 3000 : The Movie (1996) - see above.  Except also insert the possibility of our local bit of the universe imploding.

7.  Twister (1996) - Chet is mad about Jo.  Relationships!  Divorce!  Weather!

6. Citizen Kane (1941) - Extraordinary movies require extraordinary riffs.

5.  The Phantom (1996)  - Billy Zane is no Alec Baldwin.

4. Titanic (1997) - Billy Zane is no...good... for the heroine, Rose - but luckily, eventually, kills himself .

3.  Stealth (2005) - Top Gun, Short Circuit, Fail Safe, and Firefox all rolled up into a big, beautiful katamari of craziness. Featuring Oscar Winner Jamie Foxx!!

2.  Legend (1985) - Tom Cruise, Champion of the Faeries.  Also, Tim Curry, Prince of Darkness.

1 . Torque (2004) - Just Bring It.

Hackers - If there is one movie worth riffing, this is it.

bluefalcon74

I noticed that the Rifftrax crew are keeping an eye on the IMDB's bottom 100, so might as well offer up some of the non-MST3K/Rifftrax related films for consideration. http://www.imdb.com/chart/bottom

1. Bloodrayne

2. Jaws: The Revenge

3. Stomp The Yard

4. Dirty Love (I know they won't do this movie, simply because of the scene where Jenny McCarthy discharges what seems to be about a gallon of menstrual blood on a supermarket floor)

5. Material Girls (starring the Duff sisters)

6. Alone in the Dark (Tera Reid plays the role of a scientist. 'nuff said. Well, actually, Uwe Boll directs. I guess there was more to be said after all...)

7. Ed (insert baseball-playing monkey/Matt LeBlanc joke here)

8. You Got Served (a turd. I love IMDB comments...lol)

9. Son of the Mask (see the film that spoiled the "classic image" of the 'The Mask')

10. House of the Dead (yet another Uwe Boll masterpiece)

SwiftJ

That's funny, my wife was suggesting "Stomp the Yard" as a RiffTrax just yesterday!

RobtheBarbarian

I'm beginning to come 'round to the idea of a Uwe Boll film being riffed, but it has to be chosen delicately. I vote for Alone in the Dark simply because out of all the Boll films I think it will cause the least deaths.

BathTub

That's very considerate of you, especially as a barbarian.

I'll play:

1. Spiderman (any of them)
2. BloodRayne (& possibly with Mary Jo Pehl?  I love her, but I can't sit through Glitter.)
3. Doom
4. Resident Evil
5. Mullholland Drive (yes, David Lynch fans, I loved it too, but it was incomprehensible)
6. Days of Thunder
7. The Others
8. The Village  (did anyone else want the twist ending to be a hell of a lot darker and less predictable?  Other than that, it was great.)
9. The Chronicles of Narnia
10. The Chronicles of Riddick (what the heck kinda word is "Furian"?!)

(Additionally, if there were a rifftrax for Kill Bill, I don't think I'd be able to pass it up.  Especially if you got Mary Jo Pehl for it.  Even if you charged me an extra $2 for each volume.  Just because I'm tired of hearing about the "genius" of Tarrantino!)

If my recollection is correct, it seems as if "The Village" is fast becoming a close second behind "Batman and Robin" as 'most wanted."

And I agree with Kill Bill...I loved the flicks, but each one was soooo different, it was just kinda weird to watch.
