1 -- Species
2 -- Maximum Overdrive
3 -- Outbreak
4 -- The Running Man
5 -- Total Recall
6 -- Mission Impossible
7 -- Street Fighter
8 -- Double Impact
9 -- Missing in Action
10 -- The Twilight Zone

I tend to think of movies that I think I'd like with just Mike riffing.  I love it when the others are there, but I like having the occasional Rifftrax that's just Mike.
Towel, please.

As much as I enjoyed The Running Man, I also acknowledge that like most Stephen King adaptations, it's a huge
cheeseball that's just begging for a good riff.

Arnold : "I'm going to give the people what they want!"
Riffer : "A gruesome execution! YAYYY!!"

Haha speaking of Stephen King - which this has nothing to do with but - why not riff "Dead Silence"?  I just saw it last night, and it definitely has opportunities for jokes - I mean - lots of opportunities.

In a goofy way I actually enjoy several of the movies on my list: Running Man, Species, Outbreak, even Maximum Overdrive.  They're all movies I could accidentally watch on a Saturday and regret the time wasted right after.  Just like Predator, which made one of my favorite Rifftrax.
I like those "huge cheeseball" type movies that are actually fun to watch, they make great Rifftrax!

Yes, let us never forget that it's possible to enjoy a cheesey movie, and to riff it affectionately.
Of course, there are times when a movie is utter shit, and thus must be riffed with malicious anger, hatred and mean-spirited
scorn.  Any of the Coleman Francis films qualify.

True.  That's what we'd do.

But what would Mike and/or whoever would be doing the Rifftrax do to the film?

I mean, I love the movies Phantom of the Paradise and The Relic.  They have their flaws but I still enjoy them very much.  But I don't want someone going for their throats, so to speak.   So I don't really want to suggest them.

I completely agree.  Although Coleman Francis seems so much better... or so much less evil, at least, since I saw Battlefield Earth.  (I've only managed to get through 1 hour of BE, actually.  It's so... so so so very... bad :-, I guess.)

Coleman Francis's spirit lives on in Uwe Boll. His movies actually make it to theaters.

Well, Coleman's movies were original, despite the noticeable lack of plot, action, eventfulness, etc....

Uwe Boll is kind of like a doddering old grandfather who tries to be savvy on youth pop culture.

"Oh....Bloodrayne....with the vampires and the breasts..... that must be the hip new game that all those
young folks want to play at the video arcade! I hear it's really happenin'."

Although in retrospect, perhaps Coleman should have made that offer to let his critics fight him in a boxing match.
He was a big guy; he'd probably do well.   But after seeing Red Zone Cuba, I'm a little worried he might forget
himself and strangle one or two critics.

AJLeatherman

1.  Commando - cheesy even by Ah-nold standards.  Bennett alone would provide enough riffing material to warrant a Rifftrax
2.  Friday the 13th series - I know there were rumors that they wouldn't do F13 due to violence/content issues, but seeing as they've done 300 and Predator (both of which were MUCH gorier than any of the F13 films were), I'd say they could at least consider F13.  I'd go with Part 3 first myself, but just about any of the films would be great Rifftrax.
3.  Tango & Cash.  Just about every buddy cop movie cliche wrapped into one film.  It makes Mitchell look Oscar-worthy.
4.  Since No Holds Barred is (I believe) not released on DVD, then how about *any* Hulk Hogan movie?
5.  Blair Witch 2:  Book of Shadows.
6.  Running Man:  Not a terrible movie, but the sheer 80's chees, bad one liners, and overall Arnoldifficness of it makes it worthy.
7.  Jaws 4 - the shark comes back FOR REVENGE.  Enough said.
8.  Hercules in New York - not only does it have Ah-nold in his first big role, but he FIGHTS A FRIGGING BEAR (well, a guy in a very poorly concealed bear suit, but you get the point).
9.  Predator 2:  All of the cheesy pointless violence of the first film, minus Arnold, but plus Danny Glover and Gary Busey.
10.  Caddyshack 2 - I know it's really, really tough to riff on a comedy, but if anything's bad enough to get a good Rifftrax out of, Caddyshack 2 is it.

A doddering grandfather who could kick your ass in the boxing ring!  And probably will challenge you since you posted that - so check your messages.  ;)

Hey, if being able to beat the shit out of your critics meant you were a great filmmaker, then Tor Johnson could have been the greatest director
who ever lived.     "TIME NOW FOR MAKE MOVIE?"

Stephen King's "IT"

I've actually riffed that movie with a friend.   Might want a few 2-liters of Mountain Dew if you attempt it because it's a LONG-ASS MOVIE.

Really, that movie throws you a lot of softballs that are easy riffs.    Like the severed head in the fridge.

"Say what you will about him, but at least he keeps a cool head!"
