I downloaded the new versions after deleting the bad (.OLD) ones and am now getting the following using RAR Expander for the Mac:
'The archive 'Maniac[DVD] could not be expanded, the file 'Maniac[DVD].iso' it contains seems to be broken.'
More help, please!

Nope,

Still have the same problem with the new files.  All old files deleted, but still no good.  More help please!

Hmm, can you verify that the files have all completed? We do seem to have seen some occasional times when the download doesn't actually complete. Let me know what your file sizes are (on your machines) - if they are much smaller than what they are on the server, then your download didn't complete.

Besides that I can't think of any other reason why only *some* of you would continue to have errors.

Prince of Space 5049

Part 1 = 609,764KB
Part 2 = 607,930KB
Part 3 = 599,996KB

Just deleted old and downloaded new for the seventh time, still no good, CRC failure, file is corrupt.

Yeah you only got about half of those first two files, and about 75% of the last one.

1) What kind of connection are you on? Cable? DSL?

2) Are you using any kind of download accelerator? You should be able to just resume your download. You'll notice on the My Files page the first two files are about 1.3GB and the third is 920MB or so. The file sizes are always listed next to the filename in your list of files.

I am using cable and have never had a problem before, I don't understand why the entire file is not downloading.  I am not using an accelerator.

I'm using cable too - my downloaded file sizes are:
part 1 - 744.6MB
part 2 - 712.6MB
part 3 - 766.4MB
I tried again and got the same sizes when downloading through standard Firefox download manager.

Hmm... very very strange. Any way either of you can resume the downloads? I'm wondering if there's something going on with your networks, which is causing the download to timeout / be interrupted?

You might try something like Download Accelerator to see if you can resume the download. Not the best solution at the moment, but it might help.

Was trying to download these earlier this afternoon (11/30 5pm EST) and it quit a few times, then the speed was way down, something up with the server?

Guess I'll try again tomorrow, too slow to try 3GB over my DSL at home.

Edit: I see the "my files" page has changed a lot, so I guess I just happened to be downloading during the upgrade?

Prince of Space 5049

Okay, I finally got it!

Here's what I did.  I double checked my settings, and found I still had one accelerator enabled.  I disabled that, deleted my old files again, and downloaded the files one at a time instead of all at once.  Why this worked, I don't know, but it did.

Thanx for all your help.

Nope, the My Files page has been new for awhile now :) (But there are two different pages still, one from the navigation at the top, the other through your account page.)

OK, yea, I guess I accessed the newer looking page differently than I usually do.

Funny, I did a speed test to speakeazy in CA and it was normal speed, but the speed from rifftrax was 1/10 what it normally is...  Will try again this afternoon.

Edit: Got it, burning.....

deadking13

ok, i just purchased the dvd to burn option of "Maniac" and where i go to download the files under my purchased files list, there are three options for each part, each seemingly identical.  in other words, there are three seperate links to "Maniac[DVD].part1.rar" and the same for part 2, etc.   i'm not sure which one i should download.

PlanetArous

I'm having the exact same problem as deadking13. Too many files displayed for Maniac[DVD].

This one is a headache for me as well.  I cannot get any of the files to download completely.
Edit: 1/6/2010.   Got it to work now.  Emailed support and they were quick to help.
