I gave it a 9.5 because, um...hang on a second.....ah, yes.  Found my justification right here in my pants.  Because...oh, no wait.  That's just an old bus pass.  Um...I'll get back to you on that.

Wait...slightly fewer belly laughs than xXx.  Er, no, wait.  Better not upset the purists.  Come to think of it...I've changed my mind.  Meesa be thinkin' dissa be gettin' de ten, mon.  Pass de ganja. 8)
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Rifftrax have been on an upward spiral since Lord of the Rings and just hasn't stopped getting better and better. We're hitting like- 13 out of 10 these days in my book. :^)

I think that it'll continue to get better, the more Mike does it. I think a large part will depend on how well he connects with the movie. If he ends up doing a bunch he feels ambivalent towards, they might fall flat

I enjoyed this one, obviously...But to some extent the effort of making sure that the trax and the movie are synched requires an amount of consciousness and vigilance that I don't think the film itself deserves.

I've been realizing that, unlike the old MST3k episodes I can't just fall asleep for a while, come back to it later.   It's something I love about them, they are comforting like your favorite pillow and still entertaining like....if that pillow had uh....Calvin and Hobbes cartoons all over it....not the best metaphor, sorry.

Anyway, I realize I have to have watch these in a different fashion.
I was first confused because both film companies had their own logos and then they had the one Mike spoke of, which was their names together on the screen.  Obviously we have the cheat sheet with the times of each so I used that to try and synch it up, but god help me if I had to pee...
Also with all 3 of them, and no silhouette, it was difficult sometimes to figure out which person was talking sometimes.

The movie is SO terrible.  So bad.  That was I think what made it difficult, because I don't want to have to focus on it too much, but I had to in order to make sure I got the synch up right. Once I felt that it was as close to perfect as possible, I could relax.
But man.  What a bad movie. Holy crap.

Even if you didn't want to make your own discs, something like sharecrow would address a bunch of those issues.

"I'm Batman!"

I noticed that and in another rifftrax I think I heard mention to Batman & Robin....  a hint of the future?

I doubt they're trying to "give away" anything. It's just that when one thinks of terrible superhero films, Batman and Robin is pretty near the top of the list, so I think when one watches a bad superhero film (i.e., Daredevil) the comparisons naturally spring to life

Ranika

I would watch a week long marathon of nothing but Daredevil before Batman and Robin again.

As much as I shudder at the thought of a weeklong marathon of Daredevil, the thought of watching George Clooney in batgear makes Electric Nachos seem downright tasty
