What are the top ten classic films you would pay to see on the big screen

[gojikranz]

The Castro is doing a double feature of District 9 and Alien (director's cut) the week after next. Two kick-ass films for ten bucks? I'm there. They also had a Scorsese fest earlier, had a great screening of Casino.

I love having so many indy theaters around here. Any given week there's good odds that at least one of them is showing a classic flick.

Dah wish i was back home for that one.  always looking at the castro lineup drooling while i am away at college!

Strange happenings:  I had always wanted to see the original King Kong on the big screeen, and when I finally did a few years ago, the cretins running the projector apparently weren't aware that the film was made before the advent of Cinemascope.  For the first few mintes, the screen was stretched and the actors all looked like midgets.

[Doctor Who?]

So was Kong just regular sized?

So was Kong just regular sized?

He's not in the first few minutes.
