We too had some brief issues with the feed, but that was all cleared up by the time the main feature came on.

The short was top-notch, so much so that listening to the downloaded version when I got home was something of a disappointment.  The Fort Worth jokes went over just fine on this side of Hwy 360.  And you don't need to tell us about the heat!

The first "ad" was definitely better than the second one.

As for Jonathan Coulton... well all I can say is, nobody in the theater seemed to know who he was, and nobody left wanting to know.  Sorry Jonathan.  At least some in the crowd got some riffing practice on you.

And then main event... awesome.  I can see why they had trouble doing it on MST3K since they did have to talk over the movie quite a bit to get a word in at times, but I can't remember a single misfire, just maybe a couple that were too obscure, but it wouldn't be RiffTrax/MST without some of those.

Looking forward to the next one!

Well, if you listened to podcast novels about zombies more often, you WOULD know who Jonathan Coulton was.  And frankly, I think many left this show wanting to know more, MUCH more about this man.

I'm just happy I was able to remember a word or two so I could sing along with those Nashville girls and be the envy of my row.  ("Wow, he know this song already!")

Excellent experience overall.  Laughed till I cried, twice.  Bonus.

Does anyone know whether the live show was recorded for DVD release?  I'd love to have one.  I've missed MST3K and was thrilled to know they're back together.  I'll be downloading some of the movies but would love to have a DVD of last night's live performance.
