also you know what I consider a troll when some stuck up guy acts like he owns the forum and gets mad and says THIS IS A TROLL whenever anyone REGISTERS TO POST AN OPINION HE DOESN'T LIKE

holy cow AN OPINION on MY internet?!?!?  :o :o :o :o

Pretty hard to take someone seriously who tells people to go fuck themselves in their first post.

I'm really starting to feel left out, not having an avatar from "The Room"

Maybe I'll do a screengrab of Chris R...  or perhaps a picture of a spoon...

The thing about riffs is that your mood and the amount that you've watched recently can greatly affect your opinion of a riff. That said, when the sample recycles material from the Twilight sample, I don't take that as a good sign.

I watched the movie without the RiffTrax commentary, about a week before the RiffTrax was released.  Yes, in answer to your question (you know you just asked it mentally), I am obviously insane.  After I saw the movie, I could not wait for the commentary to be released.  It was like having a large, gaping soul-wound that needed to be stitched up as soon as possible.

I'm sure that colored my perception of the riff somewhat, but I absolutely loved it.

Also, I just joined the board to say that I'm leaving this horrible place, but I still respect all of you (GFY), and I'm so glad that we're friends and I love Lisa so don't worry about it ok you think about everything!  ha ha.

I love how THE ROOM has inspired a Courtney renaissance on this board, and in general.

Hooray, The Room!   Oh hi!

Just as a note for anyone shocked they have to buy it, Mike twittered about it being available to rent from somewhere too. um. greencine? anybody? buehler?

Also you can buy it directly from Wiseau-films for $9 (that includes shipping) AND YOU CAN HAVE IT AUTOGRAPHED FOR FREE. (theroommovie.com). You have to send a check, but come on!

I have to admit, I'm VERY excited to see this film without the commentary. I loved the rifftrax, but also think the movie will hold up well enough on its own. It's a tough riff to rate, because I thought a good 75% plus of their riffing was top-notch wonderful, BUT the movie just gives so much material. it's practically like mike took a guy aside, gave him $40 and a camera and said, 'give me a lot of good setup lines, ok?'  I'm thinking for people who've been fans of THE ROOM for a long time, the riff might fall a little flat, and for some who loved the riff the movie alone might not work, but for some of us it's just wonderful both ways. I love you all, gfy.
