I have an idea for a movie... tell me if you think this is too "out there".

A movie, with vampires, but these aren't ordinary vampires.  These are vicious, bloodthirsty killers.

What do you think?  Could it work?

We saw that in 40 Days of Night.  It blew.  Frilly ponces are clearly the way to go with Vampires.

Blame Anne Rice.

Worked for Let The Right One In, though Eli was a bit more hidden about it all.

I've been yelling for someone to film "The Light at the End" ever since the White Wolf days. It's a very unromantic portrayal of the vamps. But since romantic vampire fiction is actually a legitimate and highly profitable subgrenre these days, I doubt it'll happen.

Cibernético II

But they weren't even vampires in 30 Days of Night. They were Zombie Vampires. Zompires even.

They were mindless and always drooling blood everywhere. It was a total waste of a vampire movie.
I really do like pie.

Where would you get the idea tp take a vampire and turn it into some kind of monster?  Craziness, craziness I say!

Can Steven Seagal star in it? He can? Perfect.

Actually, I totally was.  :) I'd been doing on online quiz about movies with numbers in the title, and 40 Days and 40 Nights was one of the answers (30 Days of Night wasn't).  I'm kinda torn on the movie, considering it features a woman raping a man, and having play as comedy.

Yeah, that provided some discomfort, and it would've been convenient if the movie, you know, would've acknowledged it. Rape, not funny. So Thrifty, don't place it in your vampire movie.

:)

And I'm still waiting for the day I meet a cool girl at the laundromat.

I think that's actually a decent idea for a movie.  A vamp makes a bet with his vamp friends that he can go all Unholy Undead Lent without biting someone, then he meets a girl that he desperately wants to eat.  Hilarious shennanigans and hijinks ensue!  And then there's some snowmobile deaths.
