Spoon theory

We all know by now about the pictures of the spoons. I have a minor theory on it. If he used photos from someone else, he'd have to pay royalties. So since it wasn't a big crew I doubt many had kids or anything so he couldn't use pictures of the crew for set dressing. Enter the spoon. Notice that is maintains the basic shape of a head. Now take that shape and make it out of focus and in the background and when you aren't looking at it straight on it looks like it could pass as a person. Thus we have portraits of spoons..

of course the downfall of this theory is it gives Wiseau too much credit for being creative. My other theory is the spoon fascinates him and he photographs pictures of them as a hobby.

I think it's more likely to be the same reason that in the movie Starcrash there's a painted yet very obvious aerosol spray can just stuck onto the top of one of the space ships as if it were a tower.....

Once they saw the finished script, nobody cared.
