I liked it when I first saw it in the theater. Then I saw it again on dvd and my fondness for it dipped quite considerably. I don't think it's a piece of shit. It's just a cheesy superhero movie. And those are awesome to make fun of.
Aaahh! This movie just throws you violently into the next scene!

Most Ben Afleck movies are just not that great. I dunno who his agent is, but he should smack him accross the face.

You're right. His agent should smack him across the face!

;D

Balls.  Edited.   :)

I'm a fan of Ben Affleck.  He's made some lousy career choices, but I get the feeling he'd be a good guy to hang out with.

Ben Affleck can act...it's just he got a ego along the way and started taking dumb roles....but I definately believe he can act...Hollywoodland was great.

i also liked daredevil.  Did anyone have a problem with the casting of kingpin?  I personally thought it was a really good pick but i heard others were mad.

SaucyRossy

I loved the casting when it was announced...but unfortunately the Kingpin character was so poorly written in the movie that MCD really couldn't do much with it....I was hoping for Kingpin to be just like the comic character in every way except Michael Clarke Duncan playing it...

To be angry over the skin color is just stupid. It's a fact that there really is only one person that can pull off the Kingpin's body size and that person is MCD.

precisely what i said.  Where did all the big strong people in hollywood go anyways?  The closest thing we got any more is a scrawny thailandese guy, who by the way kicks ass but still what happened to the arnolds of hollywood?

Im gonna assume that you are talking about Tony Jaa...who does kick ass.

As for big strong guys...Vin Diesel was supposed to be that guy but he has fallen flat big time. The only other 'big strong' action star that I personally like is The Rock. He has made some good fun action films (Scorpion King, Walking Tall, and especially the Rundown which is a lot of fun) and also shown that he can act in some of his other roles.

touche the rock would be an acceptable alternative.  And he does in fact act decently.  Walking tall was fun, but my dad recomennded the original which is apparently based on real life events and he said dealt far more with the trial.

Heres hoping we can get a few more decent movies out of the rock.

and yes im talking about tony jaa

J-Proof

The Rundown was great not only because of The Rock, it also featured the Grand Duke of wit starring as the movie's villain - Mr. Christopher Walken.... oh yeah
