Are you kidding? This sounds awesome:

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

You know, this doesn't bode well because the books got progressively worse (Stephanie Meyer is a seriously flawed writer).  I can only hope that they make all the movies quickly so it can end.
I am not above projectile vomiting to get my way

keep in mind the this means more rifftrax's of the Twilight  movies for years to come

As directed by the guy who did The Golden Compass... guess he's sticking to the religious fantasy niche of films.

I think Juan Antonio Bayona is in talks for the third movie. He did good work with The Orphanage, so hopefully he'll be able to make something watchable out of this series.

Considering how badly he messed up Golden Compass, this movie is certain to be laughably bad.

Dude, do you have any idea what the third BOOK was like?

The fanbase split in two over that book! x_x

I thought they split over the fourth book...

Dammit, Twilight fans need to start playing to my expectations.

Fuzzy Necromancer

I thought the fourth book wasn't out yet.  ???

No, it's definitely out, it's the one with the chess piece motif. Sat in front of Borders for I don't know how long.

Fuzzy Necromancer

Oooh, right you are. ^^;

I dunno how I got this mixed up. =o

Well, the fourth one is never going to become a movie, what with the impromptu vampire C-section

...

My friend has been out of town for the last week or so working on this. I fully expect him to come back sparkling.

I think there are some movies too horrible to riff. And though they're pandering to us with "Twilight," if the movies just get worse, I can see them not wanting to waste their time with three more of these nothing-happens teenvamp dramas. I mean it's not like they're big budget fantasy blockbusters. Sold as such, but not so. And it would be like them riffing every Bond movie for the next 20 years. I could see them doing a few, but you'd have to figure they'd stop at some point. "Fool me twice" applies even if you watch something to riff it.

The first poster for the movie is out, complete with the new look, 50% less ethnic Jacob Black.
