I guess there's a fanfiction saying "If there's a franchise there's going to be fanfiction for it." I'd searched up Love Boat fanfiction and 'lo there are fan written stories out there for the show even though it preceded the internet. I guess the scariest type of fanfiction would be the X-Rated porn fiction, of Twilight there is probably a vast amount out there. Scarily enough you can find porn for even characters who are not organic, like the Transformers, the 80's Transformers.

A couple of friends of mine wrote a McDonald's porn fic some years ago as a joke and put it up on the site we all wrote for. I've fortunately forgotten specifics but there was a very disturbing scene featuring Ronald McDonald and Margaret Thatcher in it.

Wow.  That's awful.  The thing I noticed was that right off the bat, there's nothing in the way it reads that would make me think, "Hey, that's TOTALLY Paul McCartney speaking."  It could just as easily be Paul...Anka.

I had a bunch of teenage girls come into my work today (I work at a card store). As soon as they saw that we had Twilight cards they lost it. All I could do was stand there and think about how those girls were being set up for disappointment later in life.

And God forbid I say I don't care for the books when asked. Quoth one girl, "Then Edward will just come here and suck out your blood!"

I literally had no response to that, in case they were all mentally unstable.
