Sure, why not...

Two days ago, a website that I write for, Teevee, shut its doors after thirteen years of humorous TV commentary.  We were among the very first TV sites in the early days of the web and, back when we were a bit more prolific, were pretty well regarded.

We were mentioned a few times in Entertainment Weekly and Variety, one of our reviews was quoted by Steve Carell during an awards acceptance speech, and I was able to parlay our appearance of legitimacy into an interview with Mike Nelson.  After one of our annual April Fools' day parodies we even had a couple of TV and literary agents sniffing around.

Alas, all things must pass, and most of our writers gradually got lives and families, and stopped watching so damned much TV all the time.  So Teevee is no longer.

But like a phoenix from the ashes, The Incomparable has risen in its place.  Basically, it's the same site, but instead of just TV, we now talk about all kinds of crap.  Maybe I'll even get around to writing something again some day.

As most people know from the sig banner/past pimpings, I write for a website called HoboTrashcan.  It's primarily pop culture and celebrity interviews (including out own glorious overlord).  My column is mostly pop culture, some whatever randomness I come up with before my deadline.  I have fun because it's fun when it's fun.
