Ok anyone know why Twilight is coming out on Saturday insted of Tuesday?

I mean are there really that many Twilight fans that they are afraid that massive numbers of people will take off from work if they release it on Tuesday like any other DvD?

I have high hopes of being in St. Louis player poker at Harrah's with my dad, then we meet up with the rest of the family for his birthday...... or we could skip that and watch sparkly vampires.    Tough call!

I just pray that this is never a Rifftrax because I will be compelled to watch it then.

I actually seen signs up at my local Border's about Twilight release parties.  (On a side note it's still playing at my theater and I frequently hear laughter coming from the auditorium.)

For some reason this flick has become like the Madden video game.  I'm 34 (who isn't into twilight) and all my friends who are the same age are planning on calling in sick to work , go get the DVD, and have what I can only express as a "female circle jerk" party with champagne, food, and discussions on how cute what's-his-name is (I can only call him Cedric for some reason). 

I have only witnessed this phenom once before and it was caused by The New Kids on the Block...I don't want to live trough this again.

How well did Twilight do at the boxoffice?

Despite all the teen girls going crazy I don't remember hearing about it breaking any records and yet it is being treated like the biggest event in movie history.
