But Tom Baker later said he regretted not taking part in the Five Doctors.  And Leonard Nimoy also talks in I Am Spock about how he's come to appreciate the association he has with Spock.

Doctor Who?

Yes but that doesn't mean that they were not typecasted at the time and it is no reason for other actors not to be afraid of it.

You make it sound like no self-respecting actor would enjoy being associated mainly with a certain role or type of role.

I plan on having my wife hit me in the head with a bat right before I walk into the movie so that I won't remember anything about the comic or cartoons of my youth before I see the movie.  That way I'll only be slightly entertained by it rather than horrified at all the changes to my memories of childhood.

That being said, it will be one of the very few movies that I'll actually spend money on to see in the theaters.  With the cost of 2 tickets plus a babysitter to watch a 2 year old and a 3 month old for a few hours it's worth it for me to just wait til things are on DVD and get them through Netflix.

Well, in my extremely humble opinion, if they end the film with the line, "And knowing is half the battle," I'd say it just might be worth it.
Dammit, Maverick! Why don't you play by the rules?!

"Joel, what's a Harringway?"
"About a pound."

Yelling "yo Joe" is like yelling "fire!" It's stupid, it makes everyone turn around and look at you, and it should be illegal.

Why didn't they make a MASK movie instead? It had a flying car with gullwing doors. That's something that people would love to see in a movie.

Tripe

I certainly would, MASK was excellent.

At this point, it wouldn't surprise me if they came out with a Jace and the Wheeled Warriors movie.

Also ace, written by J. Michael Straczynski, needed some work but I liked it.

Yeah but in that one I did see an infuriatingly inept precis of the Trojan War, and after the twat gives it, the other students are all like "wow you're really clever!" Bollocks is he, he can't even get the sequence of events right.  ::)

I'm pretty sure I said it somewhere on this forum before...MASK is the greatest thing, ever.

I'd so love to see some live action vehicular assaults with Rhino and Volcano leading the charge.

Nobody got my Back to the Future reference?

The entire MASK roster sans the Condor > the DeLorean

(Yes, even Thunderhawk.)
