A question for anyone who has this RiffTrax

The catalog says "The audio commentary is only guaranteed to work with the Legend Films edition of Little Shop of Horrors".   Is this just a way of selling more DVDs, or is there an actual difference between the Legend Films version and the original, other than being colorized?  Or perhaps, do some of the riffs only make sense with color?  Like "That gut looks like The Green Goblin with a Hitler mustache" or something.  Ideally, this question is for anyone who has seem both versions.  Please advise.
Thanks

What they mean is that the Legend version is likely to be a slightly different cut than other dvds that are out.  From what I understand Legend restores the whole film from the best elements they can find before colorizing it, other versions might not be as complete or have scenes trimmed differently, this might throw off the timing significantly for a riff.

My experience is the legend stuff is better than most any other versions out there. They do a heck of a job on their DVDs.

Doctor Who?

No two copies of a public domain movie tend to have the exact same run time.

Thanks to everyone for the input.  What makes me curious is that titles like Swing Parade, House on Haunted Hill and Carnival of Souls don't have that warning, at least they didn't when I purchased them, so what would make these two titles different?  Does RiffTrax know something that they don't feel like sharing with the rest of the class?
This might be a lot to ask, but would someone who has the Legend Films version and/or the RiffTrax for this film be so kind as to hop over here:

play their version along with it and see if they match up?
Thanks in advance to everyone whether you do or not.

Does Rifftrax have proof that it was born in America?
On timeout

Well it has a Certificate of Live Birth, but that doesn't prove anything.
