Use your own rating system.  I put them in order of how much I liked them with a quick word on Pros and Cons for each (the deciding factor for close calls: Assuming I owned all these movies, which one would I return to first and probably more often?):

First, let's start with...

THE As:  MOVIES I WOULD LIKE TO OWN
A+)  Wall-E
PROS:  Just about everything
CONS:  Tacked on environmental message
A+)  Forgetting Sarah Marshall
PROS:  Every character (large and small) is superb
CONS:  Male full frontal
A+)  Dark Knight
PROS:  Just about everything, esp the Joker, action sequences, and moral dilemmas.
CONS:  Very long and dark subject matter
A)  Iron Man
PROS:  Robert Downey, Jr. and action sequences
CONS:  Final battle a bit forced
A)  Slumdog Millionaire
PROS:  Danny Boyle's frenetic visuals/cuts bring life to a "City of God"-like romance.
CONS:  Not exactly bowled over by it.
A)  Tropic Thunder
PROS:  This movie knows my humor
CONS:  Ping pong between plot and humor

THE Bs:  FUN MOVIES THAT HAD SOME MINOR FLAWS TO OVERCOME
B+)  Zack & Miri
PROS:  The love story is greater than the humor
CONS:  The love story is greater than the humor
B)  Kung Fu Panda
PROS:  Great action and good humor, brilliant animation
CONS:  It's still kiddy fare
B)  The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
PROS:  A towering achievement of technical dazzlery with winning artistic flair.
CONS:  Characters aren't as dazzling as everything else.
B)  In Bruges
PROS:  Well done, great comedic moments and two of the year's finest performances
CONS:  Too dark; more dramatic than funny
B)  Indiana Jones
PROS:  Great action and a fun adventure
CONS:  Aliens
B)  Incredible Hulk
PROS:  Great action
CONS:  Plot drags slightly and the final battle is CGI overload
B)  Let the Right One In
PROS:  Very artistically shot and paced
CONS:  Not as engaging as hoped

THE Cs:  MOVIES WITH GREAT MOMENTS THAT WERE JUST TOO FEW AND FAR BETWEEN
C)  Pineapple Express
PROS:  Seth Rogen and James Franco's antics
CONS:  Not *that* funny
C)  Step Brothers
PROS:  Will Ferrell and John C. Reiley's antics
CONS:  Story is barely substantial
C)  Quarantine
PROS:  Wasn't crappy and has some good scares
CONS:  It's still a horror movie (NOTE:  Horror movies tend to miss more than hit with me)
C)  Ghost Town
PROS:  Ricky Gervais and Kristen Wiig.  Starts out strong in the beginning.
CONS:  The clunky twists in plot draw more and more away from the humor.
C-)  Doubt
PROS:  Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams
CONS:  Poor directing for so much potential

THE Ds:  MOVIES I'M GLAD I SAW BUT WERE JUST TOO FLAWED TO REVISIT
D+)  The Wackness
PROS:  Well done and particularly well acted
CONS:  Characters too "unsavory"
D+)  Be Kind, Rewind
PROS:  Michel Gondry's imagination
CONS:  Uneven story structure
D+)  Happening, The
PROS:  Stylistically pleasing and some campy hoakum
CONS:  The twist is straight from a 1950's sci-fi horror movie
D)  Baby Mama
PROS:  Tina Fey
CONS:  Chick flick aimed at late 30s single business woman (i.e. nowhere near my demographic)(NOTE: I plan on seeing "The House Bunny" with no doubt it will fit right here on the list)
D)  Son of Rambow
PROS:  Imaginative and accomplished
CONS:  Not sure how to put it into words, but I just don't feel like I need to see it again.

THE Fs:  MOVIES I REGRETTED HAVING SAT THROUGH
(n/a)
PROS:  I haven't seen any truly, truly awful movies yet
CONS:  It's only inevitable that I will find one

Wait, 'too dark' is a con?  :(
Yeah... lately it's been.  Personally, it's been a hard year and I find myself leaning more towards comedies than dramas (I imagine I would've liked "Doubt" more if not for the same thing).  So it's like you have two hours to kill.  Whaddya wanna watch?  "Wall*E" or "Dark Knight"?  I'm just more willing to go with "Wall*E" as of late.
