I'm sorry Torgo, seems like you're going to all the wrong gay pride parades!
there, there my dear. Few corpses are worth tears.

Who says I was going? But if they all have naked, writhing women, I might just have to become a spectator!

I hope he's a "catcher."
Snowhead the Blue Reindeer gave me all the presents in the world.

Holy Terror is "a reminder to people who seem to have forgotten who we're up against."
right. because all of those people who've been living in holes for the past 6 years may have forgotten who our enemy is.
Christ, does the GOP have Miller on the payroll or something?

A person doesn't have to support the Republicans to understand what we're up against (although, it seems these days one has to take an oath of willful cluelessness to get a DNC voting card). The mistake the Republicans AND Democrats make is trying to frame this as "Christians Vs. Muslims," when in fact the struggle is the secular reason of Western civilization versus backwards religious tyranny. Those in the West, particularly America, who favor backwards religious tyranny are ultimately just as much a part of the problem as the enemies we face overseas.

Hopefully not more of Gerard's Butt-ler.

Ever since seeing "300", I was reeeally looking forward to the RiffTrax heckling of  "300", but was sorely disappointed.
The RiffTrax crew waxed poetic ...errr, heckled comic... but seemed to intentionally SKIP the 3 moments in the film most worth heckling:

I mean the three moments in "300" when King Leonidas claims that resisting the Persian invasion & Emperor is somehow defending freedom and resisting slavery. For RICE CAKE, guys! Leonidas was the only citizen of Sparta whose liberty/freedom/political rights were at stake. Every other Spartan was his slave/subject, so had Sparta become part of the Persian empire, only ONE person would have lost his freedom.

This major point made the whole film ridiculous... though the leather diapers, presence of less than 30 of the "300" onscreen, open mocking of the handicapped and non-heterosexual, and constant warmongering did a good job of making the filmi ridiculous anyway.

There are noticeable PAUSES (SILENCES) in the RiffTrax soundtrack at these 3 moments. What-the-New-Jersey, RiffTrax writer dudez?! Did you fall asleep at that point, or somehow forget that politically powerful kings are the antithesis of democracies?

---
P.S. An earlier post questioned whether Frank Miller is on the Republican payroll. The answer is "He doesn't need to be. He's a card-carrying Objectivist... you know, the moronic, elitist, super-right-wing political movement started by Ayn Rand." Being an Ayn Rand Objectivist must be a big help to a writer of comic books, since it's all about two-dimensional unrealistic characters, solving things through violence, and viewing the majority of the world's population as being somehow subpar & worthy only of being dominated & disdained.

Each riff has a specific board in the Rifftrax section.

Hey, sethness? What you know about Objectivism could fit in a matchbox without taking the matches out first.

At least enough to be annoyed by sethness' pig-ignorance on the subject.
