It's a fun movie.  Just as good as Batman Begins, and The Joker is great, but I never creamed my pants watching it.

I too, wish to keep my pants uncreamed.

Then we have reached an agreement.  I'll have my secretary send over the paperwork overnight.

I would like to opt in out in case of creamage after three watchings.

Our lawyers can hash that out.  We'll do lunch next time I'm in town.

Oh yeah, millions of people enjoyed this movie....they must all be morons, huh?

millions of people enjoyed Jurassic Park when it came out too. weird argument, really.

can't wait to see this. i don't know why/how anyone is defensive about riffing a movie. seems really odd to me. unless there's a batreligion that i don't know about?

Um... actually, I think this movie hates fun and was possibly making FUN of fun.

So in this case the Rifftrax gang were making fun of a movie making fun of fun?  :)

I look forward to reauthoring this release but I would like to point something out. The crew has now done two Christopher Nolan movies and zero Uwe Boll moives. I can find no justice in that fact.

I completely agree   The ash tray of justice to the cigarette butt of bad movies, the dust pan of humor to the dirty floor of cheap cinema, the wet tissue of Rifftrax to the poop covered bottom of Hollywood big shots, the... ah, I give up.  Even the Harry Potter riffs are wearing thin.  I mean those movies are just the same film, different director, with the same crappy premise.

HONK FOR A UWE BOLL RIFFTRAX!!!

Uwe Boll movies should never have been seen by anyone. If you saw them, it's your own damn fault and YOU should be riffed as much as the movies. I've never felt sorry for the hopeless video game fans who have to watch "Oh Noes, Dark." Superhero movies, on the other hand, are almost always hyped and raved about.

Also, I think they riffed Memento so they could riff TDK. I don't know WHY they have to riff one of a director's movies to riff another, but I feel this is the case. The same happened for The Sixth Sense and The Happening. I can't think of any other good reason why they suddenly needed to riff Memento and The Sixth Sense, honestly. After all the fan requests, those weren't high on many lists.

That pedestal you have it put up on is made of mylar sleeves, backing boards, and dried virgin tears...it needs to come down to reality.
I'm sure if the situation were reversed and a film you hold so very dear was riffed you would feel the same way.

Nope, not even close. I have thought about this pretty hard in the past and there really isn't anything I would get my panties in a bunch over...I just don't see Riffing a movie as insulting it. Nice try though.

In fact, I wish they would do some of those movies that I hold dear - just to see them challenge themselves.

You wouldn't get upset, that's great. Not sure if I completely believe that, but it's great anyway.

Jeez....I really hope I wouldn't get UPSET about someone making jokes about a MOVIE I like. What would that say about my emotional stability and ability to prioritize my life?

(I swear I'm not trying to pick a fight here, I'm just going to shut up after this)

They probably figure you Dark Knight Fanboys NEED to watch the holy movie a good 5 or 6 more times before tarnishing it with a Rifftrax.

YAWN!

Oh yeah, millions of people enjoyed this movie....they must all be morons, huh?

Millions of people follow Scientology, too...

I don't get it. Just because they riff on a movie you like, it doesn't mean you have to WATCH the movie with the riff on it. Who cares if they riff it? If anything, it's a chance to go back and watch a movie you enjoy with a twist. Hell, it might get some replay value in a movie you love, but have already watched five gagillion times, and weren't planning on going back and watching again anytime soon.

Apparently people keep forgetting that there are no rules to riffing. You can riff anything you want. If you don't want to buy it since it's somehow sacrilegious, then don't buy it. To get all hot and bothered about it, and talk about it as if the world it going to end just makes you look lame.

I dunno man....believing that all of humanity's problems are caused by enslaved alien spirits is a little more realistic than seeing the pinnacle of cinematic achievement in the rubber suit of a guy dressed like a rodent. :P I keed, I keed.

Just to clarify, that's not what I was doing.
