After all the build up over things like "Jingle all the Way" and "Santa Claus: The Movie" it sure feels like a lump of coal to get a 22 min Rankin  Bass short.

Makes me wonder if our voices even reach up to the top of that Rifftrax ivory tower....

Nestor and Little Drummer Boy are the only two Rankin/Bass Christmas specials I never saw.  Cool!  Might give me a reason to check this one out!

I will agree. Since the immortal classic It's a Wonderful Life was being , publically at least, bandied around, to end up with an obscure short seems..well odd.

But thank God it wasnt Santa Claus the Movie... suicide rates are already higher in the season,  no need to drive them up more!

Did we get a release date?

We didn't get a release date or an MVP for this game.  Maybe they were upset by the mixed reaction to the title they chose?

My reaction was mostly due to the fact that I had never heard of this short.  And it seemed that there were more likely titles to pick from.

I'm sure it will be great though!

This appears to be a religious short.  I hope Mike doesn't try and ruffle feathers, this is technically the first religious piece he's ever done.

Not likely -- he doesn't seem like the type to slam his own religion.

Just got here and saw this. Interesting choice. I may have seen it, but I'm not sure -- I don't think it's been on TV in a long time.
