Why'd it ban laptops?

I mean admittedly you've provided a great example of how they can be a distraction but I used to take notes on a laptop.

I mean admittedly you've provided a great example of how they can be a distraction but I used to take notes on a laptop.

I take notes with the laptop, as well, but other people don't, I guess.  On our last test, there was a ten point difference in test averages between the class section that's allowed laptops (my class) and the section that isn't, so the professor told my class we're not allowed laptops anymore.  It kind of stinks, especially since I do pay attention in class and have done reasonably well in the class (even with the laptop), but I'm not going to complain too much.  I'm just... going to take paper notes.  And miss 20Q's.
