I found them from a YouTube Ad! :D

So, advertizing DOES work......

Main reason:  That picture of dumbledore pushing his finger up his nose made me laugh so hard I had to come!

...that's not my usual experience with laughter.  You must have to change your underwear a lot.
Zing! :rimshot:

It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure I first saw it on mst3kinfo.com. My reaction? "Mike Nelson? Riffing on major Hollywood movies? Yes, please."
It is easier to destroy than to create.
More fun, too.

Beheldemai

I looked up Mike Nelson one day to see what he was doing, and I found out about RiffTrax.

rockyoumonkeys

you know....i have no idea how i discovered Rifftrax.

none.

which is sad, because it was only like a year ago.

i must have seen it mentioned in a message board somewhere, possibly IMDB.

Goudy

My Friend found it one day and i saved it to my bookmarks. Me and him loved MST3k and was sad when it was gone. THIS IS AWESOME THAT THIS WAS MADE!!

mishypic

I actually found this through some site called "Movie a minute" or something similar to that where this guy gives a one or two line synopsis of any movie.
He had an ad with Mike's smiling face and I was so thrilled to come across this!  I had no idea this site has been around for a year or two now.

Huge Mst3k fan from way back when.  Still have the VHS copies that I would record off the tv...I still pop them in on a lazy sunday afternoon to get a good laugh (or 2 or 3 or dozen) before starting the work week.

Keep it up fellas!

I was visited by Jesus and he told me he was an actual Riffing Angel and all the other religions had it wrong and I needed to follow the Gospel Of Corbett
If there was a transformer that was a hybrid, do you think the other Autobots would make fun of him or be envious?

I first heard about RiffTrax through MST3Kinfo when the site opened, but I refused to try it because I thought the sample of Star Trek Generations was lame and I didn't think it would be worth listening to them make fun of movies I actually already liked.

Then recently I found out about the RiffTrax blog through the Cinematic Titanic forum, started following the blog, and then was tempted to try RiffTrax because of Bill Corbett's mock fight with Mary Jo Pehl.  And because they were doing The X Files, which was a movie I know I saw in the theater but which I couldn't remember much of, so it therefore wasn't as good as I remembered.  The RiffTrax for X Files won me over, and now I'm a fan of RiffTrax as much as for Cinematic Titanic.

If I had to do my teens all over again, I still would have had no drivers license and still would have memorized bad movies.  Every Turkey Day was well spent as is.

I found a RiffTrax teaser clip on YouTube while watching random MST3k stuff, and poof! Frankly, I'm ashamed and horrified that it took me so long to find it in the first place. D=   I should have known MST wouldn't just die and fall off the face of the earth to never be heard from again!!! *insert maniacal laughter here* >3

Except for finding it on YouTube first, that sounds very very familiar.
