Relaxing Dragon

I wouldn't really call that better, it just makes a bit more sense (I think someone would've noticed the facehugger on the dog, whereas they wouldn' have noticed the oxen right away). And I think it's more the Alien is based off of Animals in general, rather than specific species.

At the very least, the chestbursting scene is done better with the Oxen than with the dog.

Identity Crisis is currently #1 on the IMDb's Bottom 100. But only because 706 people voted on it.

It doesn't deserve to be ranked as the worst movie ever made, especially considering the fact that The Hot Chick has a 5.6/10 rating on IMDb. These two films are in basically the same genre (body-switching comedies), and I think that Identity Crisis was a better-made movie than The Hot Chick.

And, really, if you look at the filmographies of writer Mario Van Peebles and director Melvin Van Peebles, and seriously tell me that they are as untalented as the morons who made Disaster Movie, you are out of your mind.

Okay, so he didn't write it, but he still agreed to be in Jaws 4: The Revenge. That ruined any movie with the Van Peebles name attached, including In Living Color.

While I possibly couldn't comment on Identity Crisis' worth as a movie, I will say I'm a little annoyed that imdb's bottom 100 isn't as strictly enforced as their top 250. The bottom 100 has always been subject to "fad" voting - The Hottie and The Nottie was number one once, and now it's at 17 - and it takes the air of credibility somewhat away from the whole voting process.  It's interesting that a movie from 1989, without a DVD release, is now considered the worst ever made.

I've never cared even a little for the IMDB lists like that.  I love that site, but only for answering my cast and crew questions and providing maningless but fun trivia.

Best Chuck Norris movie ever. This action-packed freakout is fueled by beer.

Actually, it WAS released on DVD. IMDb doesn't list some DVD releases for some reason:

My opinions go against the grain very often. I thoroughly enjoyed the Star Wars Prequels, Indiana Jones 4, Spiderman 3, every M. Night Shyamalan movie....

Heck, I like almost everything in the RiffTrax catalogue.

Did you like The Village?  I ask because I figured that one out in about five minutes or less, and I was thoroughly disappointed.

Since it has become fashionable to bash on Shyamalan, I'm afraid Signs is a little underrated.  I thought the juxtaposition of an alien invasion with a story about faith was a damn good idea.  It definitely surprised me, and I was able to guess the "surprise ending" of The Sixth Sense as soon as Willis began obsessing over Osment.

I liked The Village, but the ending left a sour taste in my mouth.  I guessed the twist, but I kept dreading it as the time for it came closer and closer.  I would've preferred the movie to be a straight horror one.

I liked Signs too.  They should totally do that as a Rifftrax though too.

It's fairly riffable.  Actually, most of Shamalamadingdong's movies would work pretty well.  I question The Village, though.

I generally liked every Chris Farley/ David Spade teamup movie.

I hate them all. I think Spade -can- be funny; his standup is hilarious.  Farley, on the other hand, was never, ever funny. He just shouted and fell on things.

Oh, I dunno... he was funny when he'd put on the bee suit. Or when he did his Joe Cocker impersonation. That was hilarious!

Wait, I'm being handed a correction. Chris Farley is NOT John Belushi. My bad.

In defense of Belushi and Farley, both were typecast as obnoxious idiots, turned to drugs, and lost their lives. Who knows what kind of careers they might have had in dramatic roles. Chris was apparently going to star in a Fatty Arbuckle biography. John gave some good dramatic performances.

Belushi's comedy is appealing from a musical point of view -- he had a rock-star kind of persona. He was a punk fan and actually sung in the Blues Brothers band. He had the ability to create likable personas, but was recognized only for roles like Animal House.

Farley's SNL skits had a kind of frat-boy appeal to them, but he managed to pull off genuinely likable fools in Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. Toward the end of his life, he was almost headed toward roles where he wasn't playing beer-and-bong guys.
