My full length and shorts are all at zero dollars, but my quarterly check was exactly what I thought it would be.

On a different topic, Inpaint is the giveawayoftheday today, and is good for another five hours (note that you have to download AND activate before the deadline for it to work):

This is a good tool for posters/thumbnails if you need to remove a small, clearly contrasted item without a whole lot of lasso/cut/copy/paste/blur/shade stuff.

Of course the system only knows it is a short if you mark it as one.

All my products read correct except my "Phantom Empire" short which reads zero dollars.  I wonder what would happen if I put up another full iRiff.  I think all my others were put up before we started reporting this problem.

It's got nothing to do with being a short. Seems like everything after a certain date after a certain update probably is affected. Most of my products report correctly, but my last two (Nightmare on Elm Street 5 and Batman) show as $0.

Probably wouldn't be so frustrating but when we get our checks it says to refer to our sales reports on the website.

Wow, this is more complex than I thought.

To sum up, we are currently unable to:

1.  Grant files
2.  Get an accurate figure for profits made (every riff posted to the site after a certain date will keep track of units sold but not how much money is made)
3.  And, finally, (from an earlier post of mine in this thread) add files to a riff and have them be available to people who have already bought your riff.

Is this correct?  I thought the first two were related because I granted two files and my sales report says two were "sold" for no moneys.  You can see my confusion.  My other two riffs chart sales just fine (as far as I can tell).

You can grant them, but the files never show up in the persons My Files section I believe. (Although with one of mine I was getting error messages saying "You can grant this to 10 more people" and when I tried to grant it I got "You have already granted this to 10 people".)

OK, that's different from mine.  Every time I grant it, it gives me a message consisting solely of 20 hyphens.  And it doesn't show up in the person's feed.  (That part's the same.) Nothing about "You already granted this to 10 people".

I got that error (hyphens) for the files I granted on my most recent one (G.I. Joe).  Burn-E: The iRiff Sing-Along gave me the 10 users thing.

It's not just shorts. Full length as well.

Yes, despite a number of sales, my mp3 riff for Runaway still shows zero dollars. It was uploaded in April...everything before that shows dollar amounts, but not my latest one.
I'm assuming the short I'll be uploading soon will have the same error?

I would say that would be the case.  My last one is like that, too, so it's an across the board thing.  I'm pretty certain the accounting on the other end is fine, it's just odd numbers for viewing on the website.

A pop filter improved the quality of my latest recording and was extremely easy to make.  In my first riff, the mic was getting hit with puffs of air from plosive sounds like p, b, or t.  The extremely loud pop noise was possible to reduce in editing, but a pain to do it with a lot of instances.  For the next riff, I built a pop filter, clamped it to the mic stand and put it between us and the mic.  It made a world of difference. It looks like this:

It's as simple as it looks:
1. Bend wire coat hanger into a circle about 8" in diameter
2. Slide the stocking over the circle and pull taut.
3. Cut the stocking an inch or so beyond the circle
4. Tape end of stocking in place on hanger

A simple web search will find you other recipes and videos for building pop filters with varying levels of sophistication.  Here is a more detailed description of one like mine.

Don't know.  I saw it at work, where I couldn't download it, and missed the download period (giveawayoftheday offers software free, but only for one day; publishers use it for promotions).
