See, now I thought all Americans sounded like rednecks

No, no.  You are thinking of Armenians.  Bunch of backwoods hillbillies.

By the way, England isn't actually a country

Really?  So, what is it?  A weather condition?  An unfortunate swelling?  A new fragrance by Prince Machibelli?

Because there's some song that tells us that there will always be one....

Oh wow I didn't notice that, er what is England then dear heart?

There is a reason for the name United Kingdom, it recognises the unification of the crowns of two separate countries.

Deary Deary me, please don't say that's the level of fact checking at Al Jezeera.

One time I had a touch of the England, but the doctor gave me some topical cream and it cleared right up.

I like the fact that despite not having seen the film, he's able to produce not only a judgement of it, but of the people who made it.  Then he says that the film is meant to represent the entire country erm...territory to the entire world, when it's clearly SET IN A BOARDING SCHOOL.  And since when has that meant to represent only a small portion of our country land? Then he proceeds to recommend other TV shows as a proper representation of the country patch of ground, instead of advising people, to, you know, go there.

Personally, I think anytime Tau2fig posts one of his columns, the topic should immediately move to llamas.

Tripe

Absolutely, now if I could only find some audio of Steve Wrights Llamaman skits

Llamaman! Llamaman!
He can do what a llama can!
He can bleat! He can trot!
He's got what a llama's got!

Hey Hey there goes Llamaman!

hmm apparently the spellchecker recognizes Llamaman as a real word, curious.

mrbasehart

He's still going, Steve Wright.  He talks over the records too much, but I prefer him to Chris Evans on Radio Two.

Tripe

Ah Radio Two, is it still where you go when the cool has deserted you?

Though isn't Mark Radcliff on there now too?

mrbasehart

Yeah, he does a late evening show.  No Lard, though.

Radio Two actually has higher listening figures than Radio One.

Tripe

Well judging on Radio One from when I last listened regularly, I'm not all that surprised.

Ah I remember requesting the most ludicrous rap from Westwood and hoping to hear his accent fail as he introduced the records.

Courtney

BOYS, quit talking about your derned British stuff.  Stay on topic.
