Did they miss the creepiest second of the movie?

How many of you noticed what happens for one brief second at 1:29:56 into the movie?  This tiny piece of the film was the freakiest part for me and I was very surprised when the RiffTrax passed by this moment without comment.

Do you think they did not notice?  Or was this part not as startling to everyone else as it is to me?

I have been vague in order to avoid spoilers.

Also, see The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, the book by Oliver Sacks, for two examples of people with conditions similar to Leonard's.

I noticed it.

If you want a decent Memento analysis this is a good read:

Noticed it. One the goofier, lamer aspects of the film. Yeah, they should have riffed it.
