Yeah, all I know about it is from a trailer that I saw tonight for the first time.  It's called 'Bankok Dangerous', an d apparently he's a hitman for hire who runs around Hong Kong killing people.

Is he running around with enamored young women who could never actually love someone that looks like him?

a pretty girl is like

Unless he's a deaf-mute, I call this entire exercise a waste of time.

Oh what the hell, it is a big waste of everyone's time, it's Nic Cage,
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

I remember when The Rock came out thinking "wow, Nick Cage is making an action movie!"

That seems like a long time ago.

This one doesn't look to good, in my opinion. Which is too bad, since I really like Nicholas Cage and feel bad every time he takes a bad role in a worse movie (Wicker Man anyone?). He really needs more good roles (last one of those was Yuri Orlov, and that was three years ago).

Still, I'll give this one a shot. And who knows, maybe it'll be awesome.

I've been putting the trailer in front of comedy movies.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

Every time I hear Nicholas Cage has a movie coming out I have to watch Raising Arizona to remember when he was being entertaining on purpose.

Dim of the Yard

I'm still convinced that the Wicker Man is an underrated comedy classic.  A little slow to build up, but otherwise a solid comedy.

Pak-Man

I still Maintain that Nicholas Cage is a decent actor forever doomed to star in way less than mediocre movies.

It's almost like he's modelled he's recent career on Christopher Walken (or recent Morgan Freeman) and just wants to work constantly without really caring what it's in.

Yeah, that seems about right, but at least the other two manage something good once in a while (though they've had their fair share of craptastic movies as of late).

ScottotD

Really?  I think Walken's last 10 years or so has been some of the best of his career as far as choices go.

Wait, did you just rebuff yourself?

Could be the case. But then Balls of Fury came along...
