It looks like they took all the criticisms from the last one, worked on them, then lost all sense of proportion. Made me rather nostalgic for the Lundgren version, actually

How is marvel putting out so many Superhero movies so quickly?!

Anyone else a afraid that people will burn out on Superhero movies at this rate and a lot of good movies will get cancled when ever Superhero movie starts to bomb?

I think people expect that years ago.  I'm not saying it can't happen but it hasn't happened yet.

Wow, it's been almost a decade.

Anyway, this was kinda my thought when I saw the poster at the theater earlier: "Well, it's either a sequel to a crappy movie, or yet another reboot."

I always kinda feel bad for the directors of the original versions- Not a decade gone by and Marvel is intentionally re-making their movies, saying essentially, "You done had your chance, and you ****ed it up. Now get out of that damn chair, we finally got someone who knows what they're doing."

However, on that last part- we'll see.

Both the Marvel movies were really, really good so as long as the overall quality is high it should be fine.

Marvel financed Iron man and Hulk independently. Paramount and Universal only distributed the films.

I'm not sure but Loinsgate may still hold some sequel rights. And due to the nature of the Punisher's character I don't think it fits in with the Avengers Master plan that Marvel appear to be heading for.

P.S I loved the '03 Punisher film, a complete guilty pleasure of mine.

I loved the first Punisher movie too,if only for the way John Travolta's character was killed.

We shall be seeing this in theatres if only to support Titus Pullo.  That's just how we roll in our family.
