This is extremely awesome news.  The fully backwards/forward compatible DLC makes this game that much better.  Now I just need to decide whether to buy the bundle or just the game disc.  I suppose I'll have to see just how improved the instruments actually are first.

While it kinda sucks that PS3 owners get shafted on RB2 for a couple of months look at it this way.  At least you'll be able to read 360 owners experiences with the game and new instruments before deciding on whether to buy the bundle or just the RB2 game disc.  And hell, at least you're not a Wii owner.   ;)

Very smart to make everything backwards compatible. The thought of having to buy a new bundle is kinda irksome. Especially if they have upgraded the instruments. I really hope they have the new drums available at launch.

If I have both a PS3 and a Wii does that mean I got screwed over twice?

I'm ok with the delay before it's out on PS3 cuz I can maybe finally get back to trying to finish up Drake's Fortune.

Ahhhh, great news.  Same instruments, even better, becasue there is no way in hell I'm shelling out $120 for same plastic.  Here's hoping the upcoming Guitar Hero 4 drum kit works with it.

I'm planning on getting the game only at launch.  I love my guitar setup as is, and I'm sure I'll pick up a drum kit when they go on sale individually...whenever that will be.

I'm looking forward to the announcement of the setlist!

IF that survey is accurate and all the features hold up most people will be saying "Guitar Hero what?"

Might be the Lenny Kravitz version too. (Since he just showed up in GH.)
