CLUE Game 2 sign up
« on: June 19, 2008, 01:55:37 PM »
Sign-ups for game 2 of CLUE.  Going to try a few of the suggestions from game one to make it run quick and smooth.

Along with character choice include the earliest date you can spend most/all of the day checking to make the early game go fast.

I will try having a updating board and "quick refute", If I get on and there is a suggestion I will state who the chain of who would normally post separate and who would be 1st to be able to refute and then it will be their job to send info on what clue they have.

24 hour rule will be upheld.  If it takes you more then 24 hours to post your turn after the last person's turn your turn will be forfeit.  (Hopefully all those turns don't confuse people)

Board's look:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Key:  Bright green is where the doors are.  Filled squares are the players' positions.

I'll give it one more go since Jinto seems to think it's not as useless as I think the last game was :) (and that's no reflection on our former moderator.  He did a great job!)

I'll be peacock . . . and I should change my avatar.

On the other hand, if someone wants my spot, they can have it.

Okay that gives us the minimum number of 4 people.  Do guys want to try it with four and see how it goes?

Here's a great little site about Clue/do:

It's where I found my pic. It also lists the other shaded characters that aren't so well known :)

I'd still like to see how a full 6 player game can go with dedicated players.

...

Heh. Clue: Blood soap dispenser.
And check out www.theartofmurder.com for some of the best Clue information and images. Great site!

Anyway, most of those other characters are from the various Master Detective versions of the game, which usually have up to ten players. Those games are always epic because more players means more weapons and rooms. Of course, if you're just switching one player for another with a different name it doesn't really matter at all...

Let me know if you guys get stuck one player short. I'll fill in if no one else will...

"Mrs. Peacock: An ornithologist whose specialty is birds of prey - After single-handedly saving the loggerhead shrike from extinction, amateur ornithologist Henrietta Peacock next turned her beady eye on the pied-bill grebe. Having spotted a pair nesting near the manor house, she came to beseech Mr. Boddy to create a bird sanctuary by donating his entire estate to the Peacock Salvation Society, of which she is the founder and sole member. Does Mrs. P have her eye on more than just the grebe? "

I could actually kill Mr. Boddy with my trained attack eagle, YES! Not that I did . . . ;)
