Any news on this, or any tips for fiddling with the PAL version to make it work with the NTSC riff ?

I rip the DVD's to high quality DivX files and remix the audio anyway in audacity.

So please, any tips if NTSC isn't coming.

You'll need some kind of audio transcoding tool; I prefer BeSweet but others should work too. With the original riff mp3 as the input the only setting you need to change is to set the preset to NTSC -> PAL. You may as well output the file as PCM as well since you can immediately edit these files in most audio editors.

Yeah I tried the I Am Legend one with Audacity and it kept going out of sync so I'd rather wait for the PAL one to iron out these problems.

If you're using Audacity just go to Effects->Change Tempo and enter 4.271%. That'll convert it from NTSC->PAL.

This takes approximately 15 seconds of effort and then 5-10 minutes of waiting for it to convert.  It's as easy as making an entire word doc bold.

Of course, it does not take into account the chance that scenes might be missing or added, which is why we have Bathtub verify for us that the tempo change is all you need to do.
