Think of one movie that has striking simularities to another piece of media.

 I'll go first

The Lion King copy catted Jungle Emporer (Kimba the White Lion)
Nestor vs. Ollie picture created and copyright "Trumpysgirl"

As Greg's recent anime reviews showed me

AI ripped off the first episode of Astro Boy fiercely.

National Geographic's "Aftermath: Population Zero" copycatted History's "Life After People," both of which were inspired by "I Am Legend" coming out.

Ironic, really, as the whole style of Anime was initially inspired by the Disney style of doing things.  It's quite a turn-around.

Actually Kimba was behind Lion King all time. Not everyone in Disney knew of Kimba though and blabbered that "Disney" never heard of it. Causing controversy. The company should at least announce it though the simularities are so stereotypical.

I'm not saying that Disney knew nothing about Kimba the White Lion.  What I'm saying is that one of the pioneers of Anime, Omasu Tezuka, drew his inspiration for his style from Disney cartoons; the big eyes and small noses, etc.  I just find it funny that Disney studios used one of Tezuka's cartoons, years later, as a basis for one of their cartoons.  It's like things coming full circle.
