I think it didn't quite sound right on the Star Trek one.  Sounds kind of like they're using the same distortion settings for a different voice.  For this other voice, though, I think you should tweak the distortion a bit to fit the voice.

After all this buildup I was disappointed that it sounded fine to me.

I agree with those who said that Debbie's voice is too quiet.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

Has anyone said  'I HATE DISEMBAUDIO'S NEW VOICE!' yet?  No?   :)
I still say it's Mary Jo in a blond wig.

I hate Kevin Murphy's new voice.

Nah you need that in a big banner and send it to him..

I was thinking of making a t-shirt.

Let's get some made up and wear them to Comic Con   :)

Yeah I thought it was too soft and not distinct enough.  I always sync up using the first sync line in the movie, cutting, pasting, and generating silences in Audacity.  I tried to do that this time, but Debbie's voice sounded like it was from the actual movie.  I kept listening to the Rifftrax waiting for the sync line (which I knew couldn't be more than 10 seconds away) but never heard it.  It wasn't until I turned the volume way up on the Saw audio track and heard that the "I don't know yet" line was from a male voice that I made the connection.

So the problem was a combination of 1) Debbie's voice sounds too human, like it could've come out of the movie track itself and 2) the first sync line was IMMEDIATELY after one of Bill's riffs.

Also, Debbie sounds like Julia Sweeney.

I can see it now... Mike and Julia Sweeney riff Jesus of Nazareth. Hilarity will ensue.
