good stuff. I laughed out loud at least a few times.


It's nice to see shorts again after so long. I wouldn't mind seeing five or so of them bundled together for the price of a regular riff.

7 / 10 for me.

This short was really slow getting started. The first quarter or half of it was really not all that funny, but it really picked up for the rest of the short.

Great riff, in my opinion.  Kind of slow toward the end but it was good.

As a former barista at a now defunct Milwaukee coffee shop, I've heard much worse music, much worse poetry, and had to deal with even more uptight people than the ones in video.  Also, hippies.  There's a reason I avoid open mic nights now unless myself or someone I know is playing them.

I had the same experience with it starting weak and then gathering momentum. 25% in and I was considering getting some study time in with it in the background. A little after that point, and it quickly wound up among my favorite shorts.

I don't know why, but by the title alone I was expecting to hear a Foreigner song or something.

The shorts are sometimes easier to appreciate because they aren't a 4 hour long movie. I think the shorts are great.

So, in 1960 a place called "The Pit" was always assumed to be a wholesome Christian-minded coffee house?

My sides were splitting when Kevin riffed (and I paraphrase) "Yeah, coffee always tastes best when you boil the crap out of it and serve it in 40 year old porcelain kettles."
