Only the power of bacon could make Bill and Kevin sit through this brown stain of a movie.  Great job guys!  :highfive:

Ahhh yes. The power of bacon. Mighty, it is. MIGHTY, I SAY!

But how much of it will be enough to get them to watch the third one?

I re-learned that...

A.) Bacon rules.

B.) The guys hate the Merovingian almost as much as I do. Almost.

Well, the Terminator only wore sunglasses to disguise the fact that he plucked his own eye out. The Blues Brothers were just idiots. Ever after, nobody else has an excuse.

I learned that I need to look up just who David Cronenberg is.

Also that the secret of the universe is a date rape drug slipped to you by a frog.

I learned not to look for sites about wiping my ass with silk...

Also that I can get Kevin and Bill to do anything I command as long as I have enough bacon on hand...

I learned that reauthoring without the intro on this one may confuse a few people, as to what all the fuss is with the bacon.

With the RiffTrax player you can still play the intro as long as you've got the DVD main menu on screen, but I wonder how many people don't do it, so they wouldn't get the joke...

The unofficial reauthor thread cuts off the intros when burning a new dvd.  I've never used the rifftrax player.  I didn't even think of that.

Yea, using the standard requthoring techniques there's no way to get the intro on the DVD, you need to use a program that lets you alter the video as well as the audio.  I guess you could burn the into onto a CD and play that before playing the DVD, if you were showing this RiffTrax to a bunch of people....

I prefer the method Ortega suggested to me, of just making a short video with Windows Movie Maker (or similar program) and pasting the intro into it, then turning it into a dvd compatible file to put into DVD Shrink so it plays before the movie.

I use an mp3 splitter to detach the intro from the rest of the file, and insert it into the main menu as an option to "play intro." If your DVD authoring software doesn't allow you to play musical features from the menu, you can also make a "blank screen" flash movie with the intro part of the mp3 playing, and put that blank screen video in as a menu option... achieves the same result, it's just that your screen goes black while the intro plays, instead of staying on the menu.

What I was talking about achieves a similar result, except you get to insert your own graphics, like the Rifftrax logo or the movie poster instead of a black screen.  Still haven't figured out how to make a decent menu, but hopefully that'll come with practice.

I think the glasses has something to do with being able to 'see' the Matrix green falling lines thing.

And I learned that even though everyone knows the Agents can dodge bullets and are basically invincible, people keep shooting at them.

Same thing with the Agents, they know Neo kicks their asses up and down the street, can freaking FLY, but they keep trying to kung-fu him to death.

I learned that I would run head first into a dumpster if Monica Belluci asked me nice enough.

There is no need for her to ask me nicely - I'd do it if she asked me using harsh language.
