Interesting.  I was going to put A Visit To Santa on my TSWHS re-author, but then this short came out.  I don't think that these shorts deserve their own covers, so making a "RiffTrax Shorts Volume 1" cover is a great idea.  Probably have to give it it's own numbering system though, right?

Of course, this assumes that Rifftrax will actually make an official DVD.   If not, it is up to us to decide how many we burn on our DVDs.

Nestor's only a half hour, I'd consider that a short too. There's that, Signal 30, Santa, Act Your Age... still not enough to fill a disc.

But what about all the other odds and ends that RiffTrax has done? The "Mike's first weeks", the Chad Vader special, the disturbing Holiday Havoc thing, the Departed riffs, the campaign commercials, CGI Mike, the trailers, etc etc. Or maybe some of the comic con footage that's come out.

If only we had a better source than YouTube for some of those.

I made a cover for the Santa short, but I'm going to hold off now to get a compilation going.

Also in the meantime, I'm going to author these individually to a "mini-DVD"



No sense waisting a full DVD on a short.

When I was making Fun With Shorts (which I will be doing again soon) I would put between 8 and 10 shorts on a disc, between 90 and 100 minutes. I had to DVDShrink them a bit, but given the already compromised quality of the source material I never considered it an issue.

Of course, it could take a very long time to accrue enough shorts for a disc that full. Depends on how often they intend to release them.
