Looks like Hank is the guest on next weeks Talking Bad.  Wonder if he's getting killed in this shootout.

Great episode.

Walt also should have been dead. As Mythbusters have taught us, car doors do not stop bullets.

Only 3 more episodes.  That means 2 more end of episode cliffhangers.  I really hope the last episode (airing in 20 days) is 2 hours long.  Shows like this usually end up with a double length finale and it would be odd and disappointing if this didn't.

It looked like Steve Gomez was the only person hit after about 300,000 rounds of ammunition were fired.  Did these people all go to Imperial Stormtrooper training?

To me it looked like they were foreshadowing Hank and Gomez dying. That's why Hank called Marie.

Man, I loved that and I was frozen to the set at the end.

I cannot wait for the next couple.....still have no idea what will happen.

Totally agree.  Seeing her so relieved and then absolutely crushing her seems like a very Breaking Bad thing to do.

At the same time, the "final goodbye" is such a common trope, and the scene was so pronounced, that I hope it is a deliberate attempt to make us think Hank doesn't survive.

Might be a stretch, though.

Thought all of these things as well.  Half way through Hank's call I was like "Holy fuck, Hank is going to die."  Literally said that to my fiance.  But once the fire fight started and Hank didn't die right away I started to think along the lines of JP... which made me try and think of something more surprising... and my wife pointed out, maybe Jesse.  I really hope he lives, but it's not out of the question.

I haven't re-watched it yet, but it looked to me as if Gomez took a shot in the stomach. However, he still looked to be pretty spry up until the end credits.

I didn't see any hits.  Gomez grimaced as he was ducking behind the car, but there was no blood or squib.

It could've very well been desert sand, too.
