When Walt says that Gus is always 10 steps ahead, I can't help but think that Gus knew that Walt would try to tip off Hank.  I don't know how he would benefit, but I think he is still playing Walt.

Did you all see the sneak preview from next week?  Looks like Jesse is going to turn informant after Walt's botched hit.

Next week is the season finale, which you know is going to end with some mind blowing cliffhanger and we'll have to wait 9 months for the resolution.

I just hope I survive the episode without suffering an infarction.

I already can't wait for next season's premiere! That's gonna be a rough nine months.

Yeah, that scene with Gus walking slowly to the car, stopping, looking around, all while Walter is spying on him....... good stuff.

When Jesse asks Gus what he is going to do and he said "Something appropriate", that actually sent a tingle down my spine.

Season finale tonight.  Two things are certain.

1) It will be incredible.
2) It will end in some cliffhanger that we have to wait months to see the resolution to.

I'm thinking Walt and Jesse are going to be able to turn Mike against Gus.

That is my guess.....especially when he saw how expendable he was in the Mexican makeshift hospital

I can't remember ever being this psyched for a season finale.

I wonder if anyone is gonna die. I'm thinking not given that they just killed off Ted, but then again, I wouldn't be surprised. I'm picturing Mike turning on Gus in a Vader/Emperor type moment.

Whatever happens, this is gonna be AWESOME!!!

We just finally got caught up with the last three episodes. Holy crap, that was an intense three hours! Hopefully we can calm down enough before the finale later tonight.

Every time throughout the entire series that I thought I would be disappointed with the show, I have been proven spectacularly wrong (happily, of course). Hopefully the finale will be no exception.

I wonder if they will have enough nerve to kill off Jesse and set the last season as Walter going dark and trying to get at Gus?

I honestly have NO idea what to expect and I am cannot wait.

I'm trembling.  Holy shit.  Right after the explosion, I was like "HOLY SHIT".
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

They seemed to wrap up an awful lot of loose ends.  How are they going to pull off a 5th season?  Season 2 and season 3 ended with very clear cliffhangers, and you could see what they would be building from in the next season.  Here, we don't have much except maybe Mike's whereabouts and the lily of the valley closeup in the last shot.

Yeah, that was beyond bad-ass and I did not see that coming at all.   It all just happened so fast, I had to rewind and watch that several tmes.

And the zoom in of the plant at the end..... very nice.

And for next season?    The entire universe is opened to them of how they are going to go with it.   I cannot wait.   Do we really have to wait months and months?

That was surprisingly not that tense for a finale from this show. Still absolutely amazing though. Really wondering where they go from here though. I'm expecting a war between Jesse and Walt.
And now that we find out the ricin still hasn't been used, I have a theory that Walt will use it on himself to end the series. He poisoned a kid, so eventually he must realize he has pretty much completely lost it and want to go out in a way that protects his family and Jesse. No one will really question a man with cancer dieing of seemingly natural causes.
I hope I'm completely wrong though just so they can completely surprise me with something awesome.
